The old times

Saturday! Today is Saturday yahoo… Today will be the day that I can watch ghost stories in the middle of the night, watch cartoons during the day and laze my evening away with Tamil movies. Hehehe… I love my Saturday!

I was cleaning up my CDs when I stumbled upon an old VCD of my cousin wedding. It was taken around six years ago when I was still in ITE Dover. I love weddings especially if its my close relatives weddings. I get the chance to wreck havoc in the preparations of the wedding and lend a much needed hand in the kitchen. Oh yes.. I love to rewang. The bustling activities with constant jibes from the housewives who volunteered to help drives Mr Sandman far far away from me. I love to be able to be the first person to taste the chef’s cooking and stealing a few bits of morsels of delicious Kuih-Kuih they had prepared.

All of those and making new friends with the older generations makes me love to help out during the wedding preparation. Anyway I remembered my cousin’s wedding using Harleys as part of the Rombongan of the groom when they came to the bride’s house to be officially accepted into the family. The Harleys made so much noise as they purposely make their bikes to backfire to announce the arrival of the groom. It was an exhilarating experience to see that happening.

Unfortunately down here in Singapore and Malaysia, Harleys are very expensive, costing almost the same as a Honda Accord Vtec 2.0 car. Even used Harleys can burn your bank through. But for those who can afford it, I can’t see no reason why they can’t buy it.
