Finally! After a very very long time, Ramblings of Zackire is back online. I’ve really missed blogging on this site and I nearly went through cold turkey without my beloved blog. So many things had gone and so many things I wanted to blog about such as my birthday!!!

I cant’ believe that I have turned 24. I didn’t realise I was getting old until I watched My Lovely Sam Soon. In that story, the 30 year old woman was considered an old maid just because she didn’t have an available husband at her side. If she’s an old maid, then that makes me a spinster! Hehehe..

There is so many things I had wanted to do before I reach 30. I need to get my driver’s license, drive without a care to Melaka, upgrade my studies and perhaps conquer the Dragons Age Origin in just one day.

Although the temptation of playing Dragons Age Origin is almost to the maximum, the priority of studies is still my very first. I was browsing through www.wgu.edu (Western Governors University) and found quite a few interesting pointers that made this education organisation different from the rest.

I’ve just upgraded my WordPress and from what I can see, it still needs a few tweaking since not all of the functions are working properly. For example my typing platform or whatever the developers called it doesn’t work properly at all. I tried to click on Visual instead of HTML view but the tab seems to be unresponsive. My other blog site also faces the same problem as this once I have upgraded it. So much for upgrading for the better.

There’s nothing interesting in the news today, even the gossip papers or tabloids are dried of interesting news, amazing. Items and even groceries are getting more expensive by the years especially since the economic crisis that almost destroyed the worldwide economic market.

Millions had lost their jobs overnight and rich millionaires were turned into bankruptcy in meager hours. A terrible event, one that we humans always had taken for granted. Thankfully the economy is starting to pick, albeit at a snail pace but at least it is improving.

While jobless people scrambles for any good paying jobs, there are those who tries their luck in re-establishing themselves for Wall St jobs. Thankfully I’m running my family’s company but even then, trying to get sales are tough. Orders had slackened badly and confirmed contracts had to be put on hold for months and still counting.

Like everyone in the world, I only hope for one thing, for the economy to pick up fast and the prices of goods to decrease.

After so much trying and figuring out the error of the scripts in the previous theme, I finally gave up on the whole thing and put up a new layout. Even though it had been 2 years since I used the previous theme but times are changing and with every single patch being done on WP, more hairless patch grow on my head in my attempts to de-bug every conflicting scripts found on the previous theme.

It wasn’t the first or the second time the previous theme made the extraordinary flying nav bar trick. And every time it happens or something else happen caused by the theme scripts, I get more unnecessary stress. So enough is enough, I’ve had it, it’s time to chuck the old one away and get a new one with lesser hassle and cock-eyed twisting scripts theme.

It’s a new look and lesser mess. The Google Ads seem to be missing but I can easily rectify it amongst the jumbled words. But at least there isn’t any nav bars flying around and the site crashing on me at every new patch being uploaded.

Doing a major troubleshoot on Zackire.com. I’m not sure what happen but overnight many readers have complained of flying navigator bars. I’m not sure what has caused it myself since I’ve not edited anything in the past months.

I’ll get to the repairs and debugs as soon as possible. Damn.. what a mess..

Either that, I’ll change the whole design of the website.

I hate doing de-bugs!!

New Year has come and it is 2009 now. In commence with the new year and certain complaints, I have taken up the responsibility to make a few changes to website.

Meaning no more suspected ‘Spyware’ and other ‘Malicious Content’ that is rumored to be hidden in my website. This is duly because of the previous advertisement tracker/robots. They are my main reason why some highly secured IPs failed to log into the site.

Terribly sorry for the whole mess. I’m also doing a Spring Cleaning on the website and any content or ads suspected to be taking up too much space and loading time will either be taken out or edited.

In the mean time, please do not panic if you can’t access the site properly. Ciaoz!

As much as I like to have my current template design on Ramblings of Zackire, I’ve decided to scrap it out the moment I get a new design on my mind. It’s a huge mess with jumbled ads here and there and flying bugs crawling into the website and making a mess out of everything. I’m still going to continue having a 3column design template but with lesser ads and less junk.

I’m going to do my late summer clean up even though I’ve done a clean up session on Jan this year. I’m getting bored with black and pink, a total pain in the eye. I think I’ll settle for less color and more shelving space.

WordPress is not being cooperative on me at this moment which is why readers can’t see any image of pictures on this site. I’ve downloaded and uploaded the root directory of the latest update on WordPress more than three times even up to the point of deleting everything except the wp-content files from the server. Yet, my work is to no avail, the pictures still insist of showing me the HTTP Error when completion of uploaded pictures.

The Advertiser Read Me policy guide will be updated and those who are affected will be notified by email when its fully online. For the ease of readers, useless ads will be deleted, banners will be cut and smaller ad banner sizes will be used instead. This is to make sure that the downloaded time to open Ramblings Of Zackire is cut to a shorter time.

Hmm.. what else? I can’t decide yet, but the moment any new ideas danced my way, I will update you guys later.
