I had a refreshing exhilarating jog with my family this morning. It was from my house to Perling Mall and back. Mom and dad walked there and poor daddy burst his stamina valve half way to the mall. It was great and fun and for the first time in the long months plus whatever incidents that had passed, I felt happy and alive.

I love to feel the adrenaline rush and the breeze on my face when I jog. Even though I do complain about jogging and running at almost everytime the topic popped out, I actually loved it. Perhaps the scientist were right, exercise makes people more happier and refreshed.

Anyway later I am heading out to Jusco Bukit Indah. I need to RnR and run away from the heat by lazing my time away at Jusco. Their air con is chilly cold! By the way, Angsana is having a huge event organised by NTV 7. So my dear motorists, try not to complain in case there is a jam there.

It started with a drizzle and welcomed with a hot sunny day that ended with a shower. That was how I could describe the weather for the day at Perling, Johor Bahru. Went out from my house with my sisters to head out for Jom Heboh at Danga Bay at 10am. Took the public bus which was not surprisingly pack and had to endure a usual 20min ride becoming an hours ride.

The day was so hot that I couldn’t feel the air-con. The bus became stuffy, Mr Sunshine was still smiling and the passengers became restless at the massive jam that had formed when the bus reached Angsana. When the bus finally came to the Danga Bay stop, needless to say, the cause of the jam was due to ignorant inconsiderate drivers who had parked their vehicles on everywhere and anywhere of the area, even at the center of the lane!!

I had expected the Jom Heboh to be very grand with lots of time worthy booths and expo. However I only found same old stalls that can easily be found at any Pasar Malam. There are the normal stalls that sell Crocs fake copy sandals, normal accessories items, clothes and finger foods.

About 5 mins of further walking, I finally managed to get to the heart of Jom Heboh. Uhh..Hmm… Well… It was noisy. It was wet. It was… It looked like typical Kampong Theme Park.

Concert Stage

Well in the end I manage to get only Fernleaf 3x milk for extra calcium for Rm10 600gm and of course took a side walk down the park and snap some cute shots of Amamam Princess. Not all the pictures are here though.

It took me an hour to walk around the booths before my patience wears thin and my ear drums starts to ring. It was that loud and stuffy!! It was a good thing I took a public transport back home.

Being in a tropical country, I have never had any experience in handling nor even thought of a fireplace. In fact, the only time I have toyed with the thought was when I thought of a barbeque or after reading a good historical romance book. I didn’t realise that in a tropical country such as Malaysia, there are actually houses that have fireplaces in them, well most of them are older than I was.

I am talking about the fireplaces I’ve stumbled upon during my visits to Cameron Highlands a few years ago. I was really surprised to find out that the fireplaces, some even have outdoor fireplace, are as old as the World War II and some even older.

The architecture of the fireplace and some even outdoor fireplace has a small touch of rustic feeling that left me quite breathless. I happen to love history and anything that has to do with history even with architectural designs is my cup of tea.

Anyway I’m going to Jom Heboh now. Will update the events later. See ya later!!

Last weekend was the famous and most happening event, TV3 Jom Heboh, held at Danga Bay. With all the advertisements and famous artists sworn to turn up for the concert and well known Malaysia celebrities representing their advertisers, it was certainly an event to go to.

Unfortunately the organisers didn’t manage the event quite well since they have over looked the fact that the way to Danga Bay is too restricted where you only have 2 lanes allocated to both directions. In other words, heading to Danga Bay and going out of there is pure hell. I was smart and lucky enough to take the public transport, bus, but even that at 11am the jam on Sunday had started from Angsana Plaza.

Bad, real bad.. And that was only at 11am. The traffic was at bumper to bumper and the lanes that was at the bridge, heading out to JB was used by impatient drivers to drive to Danga Bay. Cars were seen parked at bridges, MARDI office and RAT Auto. It was jam packed with people.

The organisers should plan the roads out well. They should have consulted with the local authorities to lessen the traffic impact and the chaos of irresponsible drivers. No doubt the car parks are aplenty but the roads leading in and out of the place is too constricted. Imagine if there is a need of emergency, and the help can only arrive in 2hrs time, thanks to the traffic jam.

In the end, I didn’t go to Danga Bay even though it was planned out by me as one of the places I would crawl to on that weekend. In fact, my darling and I stayed true to our lag outings like catching the movie, Made of Honor (there were couples heavily making out!!), eat and sit.. and eat some more and..

I managed to get Chef Wan recipe book. Muahaha… I got his Chef Wan Sweet Treats!! Thanks to my darling since he paid for it.. hehehe… I’ve read the book already and I’m extremely excited about my findings. Will share the info with you ladies as soon as possible.

So anyway I’ll be resorting to cybercafe at the moment while my pc heads to operating theater and get a new graphics card and power supply. Total cost RM270.. I’m gonna be broke if this keeps up.

So much for your advice Abang.. I forgot to tell you that my motherboard is the one of the latest old models that doesn’t have a PCI EX slot!!!! grr… RM20.00 my foot…
