Perhaps I should start a club on loving oneself regardless of weight, size and colour. The recent matter of small sized clothes that had me huffed in frustration turns out that many women are facing the same thing. We all hate SMALL Size or FREE SIZE apparels.

It has come to my attention that clothes manufacturer lately has a crazed devotion on making clothes which are either notoriously small for an average healthy size person like me and declaring them as Free Size. Unfortunately wearing those clothes doesn’t make me feel free at ease, in fact it makes me feel suffocated. Only the agile lithe gymnastic person who can bend their limbs can fit those clothes without tearing the seams.

What’s worse is that once we, the average size women, cannot fit into these small sized clothing, the sales person and those who are around us would give us sly smiles and snicker behind our backs. What’s so good about having only skin and 1mm of meat on your bones? Are those who are not in this category labeled as aliens?

Perhaps we should all place the blame on the founder of the Skinny Models, Twiggy Lawson. She was our first skinny, twig sized model that made the whole fashion industry scrambling to make all the clothes as small as possible. These are the people that make kids and adults being so self conscious of themselves that to look otherwise would make them be alienated or even criticized by others.

I could still remember the time when everyone thought being skinny is healthy. Everyone I knew was scrambling to get their fats out of their system, partly also the men would not find anything larger than skinny desirable. Slimming pills, Slimming spa, appetite suppressant (many wanted to buy phentermine) and etc became such a big hit.

The skinny issue is also warranting ill effects from the  youngsters. Some have taken up excessive starving, practice of bulimia and excessive usage of slimming pills. There are even websites and clubs that promotes such a thing to get the desired effect.

If only these youngsters know how difficult it is to bring back home food, then they would not practice such things. If only these youngsters faced the problems such as those in countries that are plagued by war or natural disasters where food is scarce, then they would think twice of starving themselves.

If only someone could ban the skinny models on the runway and replace them with average healthy BMI person. NOW then the fashion industry would be fair to us, average sized women.

I went to Singapore yesterday and did a walkabout in Orchard and Bugis. Lots of things have changed since the last time I stepped into there, which was 2 years ago. The old Ngee Ann City was torn down and replaced by a new mall, Ion Orchard. The old Specialist Building was torn down and replaced with 313@Somerset and the open carpark next to it had a new building made over it. The Orchard Emerald was gone, leaving the Peranakan Place intact.

In Bugis, well nothing major had changed but there was a new mall beside the Bazaar stalls which used to be car parks. My old rojak stall is not in view, not sure if he had moved off but apart from that, the Old Victoria St still looks the same.

I did some light shopping at Orchard and Bugis. NEVER BUY THOSE $10 clothes unless you can try them or you are as skinny as a toothpick. The clothes may look very nice and tempting but the moment you try to fit into it at home, it just get stuck at your shoulders and worse, your breast.

Don’t get overwhelmed by all the cheap prices. Buy only clothes that you CAN TRY AND FIT. Or you’ll end up tearing the poor clothes at the seams. *glares at the smallish-ly laced blouse*

Anyway I did manage to scout for my supplements. I really think that the price in Malaysia looks much nicer than those found in Singapore. They are 30% costlier!

*Frowning at her unsightly tummy* I use to think that those who were suffering a cellulite scarred stomach are things from the movies. But after staring at myself in the mirror everyday, reality sinks in Mr Cellulite smiled sinisterly at my tummy.

Oh how I miss my teenage years when my my stomach was firm and had toned abs. Now its all the abs lumped into one fat blubber. So embarrassing.. I did Google up for diet pills that work but after reading or should I say getting lost at the jumbles of advertisement, I decided to call it quits.

No pills will work on your fats unless you accompany them with exercise and proper eating diet. Aiyo.. Now I have to wake up earlier and do daily routine exercise. All for my slim tummy…

Once again it is the topic of acne treatment. It’s getting quite common isn’t it? Well I can’t help it since acne is a daily occurrence for some people and I love to make sure that whatever new products I’ve tried is being share with others.

I’ve tried Freeman Apricot Scrub for almost a year now and I think it works nicely on my combination. I’ve previously used St Ives Apricot Scrub for years and the Freeman Apricot Scrub has the same texture and gives the same condition on my skin after washing with it.

Freeman Apricot Scrub

I really hate feeling as if my skin was stretched badly and dry after washing my face with a facial scrub or wash. Thankfully this product doesn’t and in addition leaves your skin feel very refreshed, clean and moisturized. The apricot scrub also rids of your recent blackheads.

Not many understand the importance of getting the right equipment for your little one.  Child seat and carriers are such examples. Having an Ergo baby carrier or seats is a great advantage to your child and you.

Some baby carriers are badly designed that it cuts the blood circulation of the baby and create bad back pains even after a short time of usage. I know, since I always use them whenever my little niece and nephews have a sleepover at my place and demand for a walk to the nearest playground.

However having Ergo Baby Carriers (those that look like a backpack) solve those problems for you. They are designed to support a correct sitting position for a baby’s hip, pelvis and spine growth. They also distributes most of your child’s weight across the baby’s hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine.

The carrier also takes the baby’s weight and spreads it to your hips and shoulders, which prevents fatigue when you use the carrier for long periods.

While Kuala Lumpur is having major upgrading especially in the public transport sector, some parts of Malaysia still lacks solely on public transport. With a state that is as busy as Kuala Lumpur and Melaka, Johor is sadly lacking in the public transport.

There are no MRT or LRT that can ferry the locals from a city to their main city. Johor itself is huge. The beautiful land stretches from Johor Bahru to Rompin to Segamat and to Muar. An MRT should be made to ferry commuters to their workplaces especially the badly congested areas like the main city, Johor Bahru.

The Pasir Gudang highway and the Skudai highway itself is a major headache for motorcyclists. Every peak hours it is always in a jam. The title of worse traffic jam has to be given to the Pasir Gudang Highway. It only has 2 lane for both sides of the traffic and it becomes a quicksand when there is a heavy rain because the drains are all clogged up! It is even a bumper-to-bumper crawl after the peak hours.

The government should also think of other states if they wish to improve the public transport system. It is not fair to concentrate on the main capital city itself when the money they use is contributed by the tax payers, who came from all states and cities.

They could build an MRT route with Johor Bahru (Jln Wong Ah Fook) as their main point and then branches out with Gelang Patah as the West Point, Masai as the East Point, Kulai as North Point and Tampoi as the Central Point where commuters can change platforms to get to another part of the MRT line.

From there, the government could make a central bus station and coax the public bus operators to branch off their buses to other parts in the city. While the government is at it, they should have an audit of the public buses. Most of them are not in a good condition. Being stuffed in a bus with faulty air-con while the driver puffs away on his cigarette is a vomiting experience.

Some of them only have two working bells and trying to reach for the bell while being crammed like sardines in a can is a frustrating event. Plus, most of the buses carries more than they can carry.

I myself have the experience of the driver packing all of the commuters in the dingy bus that with unclosed doors and rounding corners at top speed nearly flew me out of the bus. If the bus is full, the driver should consider the passengers lives and not overloading their capacity to the point of the doors not being able to close.

No harm in losing 3 or so passengers while they drive safely. Forking out thousands for medical bills, summons and claims and bearing the deaths of many passengers should never be the option.

I really pity Singaporeans and I mean PITY. With the amounting population of both PR and Singaporeans, it is very, very difficult to get a house in Singapore. A few years back, getting a house will not take a long time. Now it take years to get a new house. If a buyer is urgently seeking for a house, the resale houses are very expensive. In fact the price itself is the same as getting a 22 x 70 double storey terrace in Malaysia.

The recent launch in Punggol by HDB was over subscribed by 6 times. I know Singapore is a great country to live in; great public transport, nice ambiance, good facilities, good healthcare, fine foods, good security and so on. And due to this cause, the houses in Singapore is badly over subscribed. A house in Singapore is such a precious commodity that some even rent them out at high costs.

There are even cases of buyers who was trying to purchase a BTO waiting for years before finally giving up and bought out a resale flat.

Anyway my partner and I did try to apply for a BTO in Singapore. Our application was rejected even though my partner’s credit standing was great. They needed joint applicants who are working and you can’t even choose what house type (3-room, 4-room, 5 room) you want. They will calculate the total salary and from there they will ensure match the house type in par with your salary.

This means even if you want to purchase a 3-room FLAT for economy but  your salary is more than their threshold, you would have no choice but to stick to a 4-room and 5-room FLATS and paid by both partners. By the time you reach your retirement age, you’d be left with a fat zero in your CPF.

So much for having savings for your retirement age.

I am luck to be staying in Malaysia since the houses here are not as suffocatingly small and not priced at sky-high. No doubt the security, public transport and bla bla bla is not as good as Singapore but at least I don’t need to worry for my retirement age. I saved alot when I am staying here and it is less stressful than in Singapore where everyone rushes to everywhere.

Hehehe..

Anyway for those who are interested in getting hgh supplements, just visit the link.

My eyes are teary and at times get as dry as the dessert.  My neck aches and my right hand feels as if its falling off my shoulders pretty soon. I am having the Computer Vision Syndrome and I hate it. I tried going on life without the pesky computer and my condition improved much but the moment I’m on the desk once again, the syndrome kicks in all over again.

It became worse when I have to read those little numbers on the account books. I can count how many times I wrongly clicked a link. I really should install a plug in to have a pop up message that say ” click here ” every time I wrongly clicked a formula.

Anyway PIKOM PC Fair is on tomorrow at Persada, JB. I am going to go there and get my mouse! The current one died on me and it’s such a chore sharing my mouse with my other PC.

I wonder if there are any good deals there. Hehehe…

There are many newspaper companies in Malaysia and most of them writes good and informative news. However there are some newspapers which leaves me with a shudder of disgust and they are what I have dubbed as the Kepo Press.

Take the Metro Paper for example. Always the news circles around artists in hot waters, rape news, accidents, black magic superstitions, government bodies being victimised and so on.

A great example was about a recent news on minors being caught by their mom for experimenting in sexual acts. It was supposed by their mom that their 8yr old neighbour son had taught them.

Then there are those about girls running away from their family to be with their darlings. Once they realise that the grass is not so green on the other side, these bothersome idiots called for the media, make a big fake story, bawled out their sobbing fake story and try to win the hearts of the sympathetic politician to get their ass back home.

There is also another news about how a family who lived in poverty stayed in only a shed. However after looking at the head of the family, I totally disagree on giving a helping hand to the family.

The head of the family looks very much healthy and being in the early thirties, he should be able to get a proper job provided he is hardworking! Most of the news that were flashed on the headlines of these Kepo Press were wrongly focused.

Lazy bums should not be given charity but should be given education on how to get a proper paying job.

Idiotic rampaging pheromones and testerones juveniles should be left alone with their counterpart and not be helped at all. Do not waste tax payers money in helping these unappreciative kids who thought that love conquers all. They dig their own graves, they must learn that every actions have consequences. And put the tax payers money on better things like public transport!!!

If you ask me, the newspaper should be filled with real informative news and not about disgusting gory stories that will leave readers emptying their breakfast. Furthermore as for a Malay newspaper, they sure have a lot of 4-D lottery advertisements, in fact all 3 pages (and still counting).

I know that hot news sells like hot cakes. But the way most of these reporters sensationalized the gossiping news are wrong. What happen to good reading materials? So much for doing your part for the community.

And they don’t come cheap! Why should I pay for Rm1.50 (30cent more) for junk news?

What is a document management software? They are basically your secretary and admin staffs who makes sure that all your files and documents, be it electronically or paper type is well administered. Since it is a software, the document manager stores and manage your electronic documents in a safe protected environment.

In just a click away, the administrator can locate the desired files and load it into their system. All access is monitored by the software and if there are any unauthorised usage, the administrator can easily detect.
