Happy CNY!
Its a few days late but the festive mood is still ongoing. Gong Xi Fa Cai to all Chinese communities worldwide and may you have a happy and prosperous Lunar New Year.
Taking the opportunity of the long holiday, I managed to spend it all out with my old buddies and that special someone. Outing with the buddies was amazingly normal and since it was held on the first day of Chinese New Year, entertainment was hard to find.
The business in Singapore and Malaysia went to full shut down, the eve of the CNY being the governments’ bodies holiday and 2 days prior to the festive day for the Production Line SME. The only times these countries and not to mention China, become a ghost town is during Chinese New Year. And for families, its the time for reunion, long holidays and stocking up food supplies.
So getting back to the subject, the gang planned to watch Ah Long Pte Ltd movie, a Rain Tree Production and directed by Jack Neo . A must watch movie since its the only movie that made my face muscles crammed for a fraction of 30secs due to incessant laughter caused by the humorous plots of the movie.
The movie was shot and filmed in Malaysia and Mark Lee’s acting is very applaudible.
Ok after the show, we chill at Swensens Ice Cream Restaurant. Ugh.. The F&B franchise should stick to just ice cream since their choices of food is very limited and not at all appetizing looking. Pizza Hut still rocks in comparison to their menu list.
Playing pool with Lisa is a totally new experience for me. While the guys have their pool game beside our tables, Lisa and I had our own Beginner’s Luck Game. The guys had already entered their 3rd game and embarassingly the gals were still on our 1st game. Most of the time, the balls entered in the wrong position or the wrong balls entered the pit hole. hehehe..
Really enjoyed the fun outing and had alot of snapshots as a momento.
Ohh.. and also went out on a stroll to Pasir Ris Beach, lazing away the time. Didn’t realise how windy and cold that place can be. The scenery was breathtaking although you’d want to close your eyes of the Pasir Gudang busy port on the left side.
To view all of the snapshots taken, please view it here. I’ve placed all the pictures there since WP is not capable to carry the load.
