Of all the weird and complicated websites I have ever stumbled upon, SIRIM BHD is the winner for that category. Sirim.My is their main website for all their products & services and corporate issues. They made me run around in circles and got completely lost, leaving me feel as if I’m stuck in some Alice in a Wonderland nightmare.

For days and weeks I plundered Sirim.my, MOSTI, STANDARD MALAYSIA, searching for my application form and the process needed to apply for Product Certification from SIRIM BHD and ISOO 9001. In the end, it was my dad who finally got the correct website. It irritated me to the maximum level since the whole application process and forms are all included in another different website with a totally different name!

Sirim-Qas.com.my is the website. To make matter worse, my dad kept rubbing it in my face and giving me the snide comments on my abilities on doing the job properly. Grr… He can go on and on and on…. Grr..

I don’t understand why must Malaysia have alot of government and private agencies and bodies that covers almost the same job. Like SIRM, MOSTI and MALAYSIA STANDARD. For a stupid newbie like me, I will surely get lost and commit suicide at finding the correct information and resources that I want.

Don’t even think about advicing me to call them. I tried. Those who are ‘good friends’ with these top notch companies, agencies and yada-yada will know that calling them for help is the quickes way to get high blood pressure. They will either cease to aswer you or if you do get answered, they will pass you from one department to another and finally drop the line on you.

Don’t they have a customer service officer!!!!
