I had pressed the off button for more than a minute to make a premature system shut down. It didn’t work until I pull off the mains. The moment I put the mains back up, the CPU fan was on, the PC light is on but other than that, it remains RIP.

I got a feeling either my bios or motherboard. If that’s the case, I rather scrap the whole thing and get a new PC, but that would burn a whole in my yearly budget. As it is, I’m scraping the bank balance literally. Medical bills, utilities.. ugh… headache.

I’m certainly going to need to get a workable freelance job. Flexibility of working hours, even though people thinks I’m such a slacker, which I am not. I just care for my parents who happen to be sick even though they act as if they are still OK.

Then today, the most shocking revelation, the old Denise the Menace, my good old buddy and partner in crime, Liong Foo How found me in the huge world of Friendster. The both of us along with Hong Ye are constantly up to mischief even though I always managed to get away and not get caught from the huge chaos and mess that I mastermind. Hehehe.. I still remember Foo How’s evil look when he suggested Hong Ye drank and tested out our class group Fruit Drink Concoction.

Hong Ye couldn’t stop rushing to the toilet that night all because of our good recipe.. hehehe

Foo How, my huge friendly mischievous giant who terrorizes my teachers with his ugly handwriting and badly plotted out Sci-Fi composition. hehehe… But damn! His maths understanding is very fast and I so love it whenever he gives me the hints to the answers of my maths questions.

Crap! I’ve yaka-die-yak too much. I need to check up on my parents medicare insurance. Not sure if it has been renewed or not.

Unfortunately the organisers didn’t manage the event quite well since they have over looked the fact that the way to Danga Bay is too restricted where you only have 2 lanes allocated to both directions. In other words, heading to Danga Bay and going out of there is pure hell. I was smart and lucky enough to take the public transport, bus, but even that at 11am the jam on Sunday had started from Angsana Plaza.

Bad, real bad.. And that was only at 11am. The traffic was at bumper to bumper and the lanes that was at the bridge, heading out to JB was used by impatient drivers to drive to Danga Bay. Cars were seen parked at bridges, MARDI office and RAT Auto. It was jam packed with people.

The organisers should plan the roads out well. They should have consulted with the local authorities to lessen the traffic impact and the chaos of irresponsible drivers. No doubt the car parks are aplenty but the roads leading in and out of the place is too constricted. Imagine if there is a need of emergency, and the help can only arrive in 2hrs time, thanks to the traffic jam.

In the end, I didn’t go to Danga Bay even though it was planned out by me as one of the places I would crawl to on that weekend. In fact, my darling and I stayed true to our lag outings like catching the movie, Made of Honor (there were couples heavily making out!!), eat and sit.. and eat some more and..

I managed to get Chef Wan recipe book. Muahaha… I got his Chef Wan Sweet Treats!! Thanks to my darling since he paid for it.. hehehe… I’ve read the book already and I’m extremely excited about my findings. Will share the info with you ladies as soon as possible.

So anyway I’ll be resorting to cybercafe at the moment while my pc heads to operating theater and get a new graphics card and power supply. Total cost RM270.. I’m gonna be broke if this keeps up.

So much for your advice Abang.. I forgot to tell you that my motherboard is the one of the latest old models that doesn’t have a PCI EX slot!!!! grr… RM20.00 my foot…

I had thought that Seasons would be their last expansion pack but I was amazed when I login into their website and saw their latest development. They have created another wondorous expansion pack, Apartment Life. Looking at their screenshots, it looks very, very tempting. But I’m not sure my computer is up to any more expansions. As it is, its chugging like an overload donkey trying to load the game up. Perhaps when I get myself a new gaming computer, then I would decide.

Anyway, my friend was telling me the other that she’s trying Orovo detox to slim down. I’m not sure of the result since she haven’t update me on it yet. I do however intend to call her up later next week to see if she manages to detox and slim herself down.

The trick to this I realise is organising and making use of every space that you have, even up to the small corner of your closet. I intend to use every bit of their advice and steal a little bit of their ideas to transform my messy place. It’s TOO small to be a room especially when the kids crashed over for the weekened. I could barely walk without stumbling onto their sleeping bodies.

Anyway the little star that pulsed in my mind, was this episode when they showed how a flat screen plasma tv is mounted on a wall. It’s not dead fixed and mounted onto the wall, but the mouting itself could extend and swivel 180 degrees. It is fantastic! I loved the whole idea…

In fact, I’m intending to purchase one of those plasma mount.

Right, for a price of RM 1.50, I get to get my fast speed internet, 20″ TFT LCD monitor, a set of blasting speakers, 5hp air con that is currently blasting in my face and a not so comfy chair. Its been throughly used that what once used to be a great seat is now left with a small amount of comfort with amazingly good back support. But I somehow felt a bit dwarfed by the chair I’m in… I’m not surprised if I suddenly found myself asleep.. Hehehe

It’s been an extremely busy and tiring day for me today. Accounts review is up once again and I’m being made to check and rectify any mistakes and unbalanced accounting. After 3 mugs of piping hot coffee, eyes strain and migraine throbbing, I near to the point of combustion. Nearly popped my head off when a colleague of mine informed me that our stack of Thermal labels which I had bought last month had finished.

This mean, I have to pause my work, leave a note for the person in charge to take note of the finish stock, get the approval from the Royal Majesty for the funds to buy the labels, pass the info back to the stockist and then return to my accounts.

A job that was suppose to be done within the day is now stretched to the next! Ugh.. just not my day.

I’m going to do my late summer clean up even though I’ve done a clean up session on Jan this year. I’m getting bored with black and pink, a total pain in the eye. I think I’ll settle for less color and more shelving space.

Wordpress is not being cooperative on me at this moment which is why readers can’t see any image of pictures on this site. I’ve downloaded and uploaded the root directory of the latest update on Wordpress more than three times even up to the point of deleting everything except the wp-content files from the server. Yet, my work is to no avail, the pictures still insist of showing me the HTTP Error when completion of uploaded pictures.

The Advertiser Read Me policy guide will be updated and those who are affected will be notified by email when its fully online. For the ease of readers, useless ads will be deleted, banners will be cut and smaller ad banner sizes will be used instead. This is to make sure that the downloaded time to open Ramblings Of Zackire is cut to a shorter time.

So anyway didn’t do much except walking around at Sungai Segget area which my darling still haven’t had time to explore due to his busy schedule. Had dinner at Vivo restaurant in City Square which I will never step foot again. The food was horrible, my fish and chips were too oily and you can see the fish is still soaked with oil. The Oreo cheesecake was too bland that I didn’t manage to finish it (surprise.. cheesecakes are usually my favourite). I’m not going to bother talking about their service. It’s terrible, really terrible.

Anyway I decided to end my curiosity in the old shopping mall that used to be a hit with the locals about a decade ago, Kota Raya. Unfortunately for them, they still remain that old nostalgic feeling and the ambiance and design is still sadly, 15yrs ago.

Even though the place is old and never have once be redecorated and reconstructed, I was quite surprise to find recipes book written by well known chefs like Chef Wan in the almost dilapidated bookstore. But since the price was quite out of my budget, I left with an unsatisfied feeling. I need to get that Chef Wan recipe book!!

The cycle of driving traffic to your website doesn’t end there. We have to constantly promote our website by including our links in all our forums that we are in, emails and comments that we leave, hoping their curiosity will drive them to our site. But in some cases, rare cases, when I am too lazy to promote my website, I’d just indulge in advertising my website in one of those PTC or PPC advertising campaigns.

Some of the advertising rates are very good while some can get very expensive. However just because we paid for our clicks and visits doesn’t really guarantee our contents being read since these clickers are just interested in getting extra cash from PTC and PPC as they are only paid 1cent for each click. So in order to ensure that I get my unique visitors and hopefully get them to read whatever is written, I would ensure a minimum of 15sec timer be included in my PTC and PPC advertising campaign. This is also to ensure that my system doesn’t crash down on me when all 10,000 clicks are being processed within the hour.

If you are lucky, make sure to get a campaign that you can dictate how many visits and clicks can be processed within each day, so that Google doesn’t sniff you out. Google is currently sniffing out those that are using PTC and PPC and link exchange to drive traffic and increase their PR.

Luckily I’m still in their good books. Hopefully they won’t sniff me out, I’d hate to see my monthly income being dragged down to the gutters by them again. One time is enough to make me extra cautious. (I’m still having a grudge on them for blacklisting my old site and zapping my PR3 site to PR0.. Grrr..)

The PTC and PPC ad campaigns cost can differ, depending on the targeted countries, timer and other specifications. I usually would search for anything that cost below my budget of USD7.00 for 10,000 clicks. USD7.00 for 10,000 unique visitors?!! It’s not impossible my dears, what you need is just Google search engine and constantly pick and choose of advertisers.

You want to pay for the cheapest and the best in town, then you have to survey around for it. You’d be surprise that the best sometimes are listed in the 15th to 20th pages of Google Search Engine. I’ve done it and it works like a charm. The best deal I’ve ever gotten was USD1.50 for 10,000 clicks and I received around 300 to 500 visits from the advertising website per week. As long as it doesn’t crash my website and get my weekly dosage of readers, I’m fine with it.

I used to pay USD8.00 for 500 unique visitors but ever since everything became expensive and my online income wasn’t as impressive as the previous years, I’ve decided to get a better deal. If anyone wishes to know what advertisers I’m using, feel free to contact me.

I was surfing through their website since I happen to be fan of their Johnson & Johnson Milk Bath product. Apart from their well manufactured, R&D and QA products, they happen to have well structured backbone, pharmaceutical companies, to oversee all the matters pertaining manufacturing, R&D and QA of all their products.
