Fairy Tales horror
So here I am once again, making new mess and trying to get my almost infected cut on my finger healed. Got it nicked out while I was thumping down the zinc roofs of my factory because of a small leak I didn’t mend which now turns into a waterfall..
Let’s not get side track now shall we.. Anyway I was reading a few interesting posts in Digg.com and saw a very insight on our most favourite topics when we were young, Fairy Tales.
According to the site, the tales which usually made us fall asleep with sweet dreams were used as a way to make small kids shut their eyes and mutter for divine intervention during the Olde Days. From our good old and sweet Sleeping Beauty to Skin-as-white-as-Snow, everyone of them had more adult themes in it. I had known that Rumpelstiltskin was a baddie with his weird obsession with children (he must have been a loner when he was younger) and the Big Bad Wolf is just plain hungry Devil but when I read the full summary of the Olde Days version, it makes me change my mindset..
Its a real mind turner and I would have rant a bit more but its best that you read it for yourself..
