After much debating with some interludes of hair tearing and head banging on my desk coupled with mugs of coffee, I finally and I really mean finally debugged this blog from its well, bugs.

The original designer of the theme had most probably tested and designed the theme based on IE. I had tested it out on IE and Firefox before including it into Ramblings of a Vamp. It turns out ok without any problems. But the moment, the widgets were installed coupled with the advertisements codes and other Javascripts codes, the theme crashed down on me.

Nav bars start flying around, missing links and pages and the widgets coughed up junk.. It was like a war zone! It took me a few days to find the errors and even then some individual post and pages didn’t work as it was supposed to.

Had to edit and changed the right-nav bar to the left and the left nav-bar to the right.. blah.. blah.. and edit every single php pages.. grr… I HATE PHP!!

But in the end it works up properly. Everything is all stable and working A-OK.

It’s been a while since I last do any maintanence for this website. Sure a few days back the whole server had serious error which caused all of us grapple for the back-up button the moment everything cools off.

But now, this is more personal. The links for my pages doesn’t work as I had hoped for. So now I am currently in search for new designs while I try to debug the irritating mess.

What can I say, it’s a hectic month with loads of accidents and incidents which will never be relieved again.

In other words, pay no attention to some errors you may see while accessing the site.

Oh my darling brother, you are my life saver!! You have done what I cannot do and saved my sorry chicken backside. (this is the only time I would ever use that phrase online since it’s my compensation to his wizardry in technology)

If readers have been following the epic drama of what happened yesterday, I am happily annoucing that the website is now stable. Do not worry, I am currently doing all the necessary backups so this incident would not repeat itself. I am sure my elder brother would not like to see the repeat of this mess and I would never once again to be called a chicken backside online after this.. As if this whole KOW-TOW to Azrin isn’t bad enough.

Anyway for those who are new or blur like me in using FTP, do not whatever you do, DELETE any www/ folders and directories found in your root directory. Or else you will face the same mess I had yesterday. At least I had my crazy mad scientist brother to help me out.

Blah.. blah blah… Thank you Azrin for parting with your needed rest, parking in a a middle of the highway to scream your instructions to me and being my elder brother. Without you, I think I’ll never get to know the horror of off-tune singing of Teletubbies song.

Things in Smorty is getting quite heated up since an angry blogger made a big fuss over her hard effort of paid blogging being plagarised into a another Smorty member’s website content. While everyone is dishing out their pitching forks and preparing the bonfire, I think I’ll stick to the sidelines and watch Smorty pass the judgment over the culprit.

Anyway I’d also like to take this opportunity to emphasize that in no way whatsover is anyone allowed to plagarised (aka COPY/ PASTE) any of the content in this website without prior consent and notice. Should you wish to borrow some of my content, I’d appreciate if you blockquote my content with pingbacks and a huge disclaimer note with my website address and name made in honor.

Anyone found guilty of such acts will be getting a nice letter from my lawyer and a love letter from Google informing your website has been banned from its ranking and Google Ads. So watch it!

Furthermore I’d like to stress that I do not like spam. SPAM includes all those enlargement subjects on you-know-what, car loans, insurance, porn related websites, pirated related websites and contents etc.. All spams will be deleted upon received and your IP will be blocked.

It gives me such a headache to every week to maintanence in cleaning the spams, spray some anti-bug codes onto the bugs that is seen flying around and making this website fast in loading.

By the way, Zackire.com and all that liase with them will be doing some maintanence this Saturday (20th September 2008) at 10am (GMT+8.00). It will take an hour or two before everything runs smoothly. Your understanding is much appreciated.

As much as I would love to be online 24/7, I’m very happy and appreciative of my current situation that allows me to have my internet connection for the time being. I’m not really sure how long this episode of working internet connection would continue, so I better use this to my own advantage.

As you all know, the website now is very  messy, as messy as I am (hehehe…) so I’ve prepared a whole list of re-constructing the website. No longer will we see messy advertisements running amok, and distorted images piling up the site. Until I can get or find a simple and less hectic design, all of us will have to bear with the current one for the moment.

The WordPress New Update is installed and I’m not sure if it’s going to work properly since I’m still un happy about the previous update as I can’t upload any media files at all. But I’m going to test the system out and see how it all works, during my free time of course so the boss won’t frown at me when I start cursing and stomping all around the office in frustration.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with women these days but they are consuming more and more weight loss pills thinking that they are fat and wanting to achieve that model-look skinny body contour. It’s unhealthy to consume the pills without any doctor’s advice especially since you are already in the category of slim and downing the pills to get to skinny category.

Why can’t women just accept themselves and what are given to them by god? If the person who is taking the pills are really overweight, then it’s quite ok since they are hoping to be healthy by losing their weight. But you can’t just take pills only, you have to go rigorous exercise to make sure that those fatty acids in your arteries is reduced also. Furthermore, exercising helps to tone your body in the right way while increasing your body stamina.

I for one, had never taken any pills or undergo any slimming parlors. I’ve always maintained my figure by either exercising, watching my food intake and doing lots of household chores, the old fashion way. It’s a free and easy way to lose weight.

As much as I like to have my current template design on Ramblings of Zackire, I’ve decided to scrap it out the moment I get a new design on my mind. It’s a huge mess with jumbled ads here and there and flying bugs crawling into the website and making a mess out of everything. I’m still going to continue having a 3column design template but with lesser ads and less junk.

I’m going to do my late summer clean up even though I’ve done a clean up session on Jan this year. I’m getting bored with black and pink, a total pain in the eye. I think I’ll settle for less color and more shelving space.

WordPress is not being cooperative on me at this moment which is why readers can’t see any image of pictures on this site. I’ve downloaded and uploaded the root directory of the latest update on WordPress more than three times even up to the point of deleting everything except the wp-content files from the server. Yet, my work is to no avail, the pictures still insist of showing me the HTTP Error when completion of uploaded pictures.

The Advertiser Read Me policy guide will be updated and those who are affected will be notified by email when its fully online. For the ease of readers, useless ads will be deleted, banners will be cut and smaller ad banner sizes will be used instead. This is to make sure that the downloaded time to open Ramblings Of Zackire is cut to a shorter time.

Hmm.. what else? I can’t decide yet, but the moment any new ideas danced my way, I will update you guys later.

Zackire.com, Ramblings Of Zackire, is now officially ranked in Google Page Rank with a ranking of 1/10..

Finally, after all those hard times trying to push the PR ratings, Zackire.com is now ranked. Woohoo!! I know its not much but I’m targeting to get a 4th rank by the end of this year and perhaps getting some awards along with it.

For my readers who have been coming back to read up on the updates of Zackire.com, I thank you. It would not have been possible to get the PR without you guys. Thanks alot!

Due to some difficulties, Ramblings of Zackire will be updated weekly instead of daily or on off. Internet connection is giving me problems. So until I get a stable fast speed and uninterrupted connection, I will have to resort to piggy back some unexpected poor soul or walking 2km to get my internet connection.

As you have observed, a few changes has been taken place at Zackire.com. Although the changes doesn’t have any major site appearance effect, it has covered almost all of the items that was mentioned in the previous posts.

I have ditched the unnecessary disclosure act and instead implemented an Advertiser’s Log Book. This will be updated once in a while as not all of the terms and conditions have been fully covered, although the basics are firmly stated in that post.

Feeds from Helium.com, well those interesting writings will be seen in this site. I’m not trying to popularise Helium.com but I love reading, and if it’s worth my every laugh, nod or even tears, I don’t see why I can’t share the articles from those well gifted writers in Helium.com

Spammers have also been banned from Zackire.com after much warnings. I have banned the IP address from spammers from sniffing into Zackire.com and thanks to Akismet, almost 2000 spam comments, emails and their affiliation has been rooted out.

Efforts to increase the PR of Zackire.com is also taking place even though it has been 6mths Zackire.com first started. But its a good progress! From an Unranked Alexa and Technocrati to a rank of 3,963,709 and still climbing, that’s a real achievement for Zackire.com. After all, we don’t really bother publisizing and promoting Zackire.com unlike other websites.

I’m trying to include a Calendar of Event so readers would know the updates and events that will be taking place with Zackire.com or the members of Zackire.com. After all, what started as a personal blog has now metamorphosised into a Knowledge Blog.

The post for tips in Making Money Online is still in the progress of writing, so don’t panic Tarif. I will publish it up online. And thanks for your email.
