Another best buy

Just came back from my ink printer shopping. I recently bought a HP F4280 All in one deskjet. It works superbly. I wouldn’t have bought a new printer if the previous power surge didn’t destroy my old HPSC 1200 printer. Even though it was old and coughed at every print, it was a very good, durable old machine.

Back to my ramblings, I didn’t realise that the free ink cartridge that came along with the printer was only for 80 pages. Remember, the last time I bought a printer was approximately 4years ago and that was a Samsung Lazer printer. I was quite shocked to find the printer ink warning lights lit up after printing the whole company last year fiscal accounts. Grr… How Sotong of me (@_@)”"

I had checked out the price on the internet at HP.com.my and was surprised to find that the price for 60XL ink cartridge costs RM127.00. So expensive!!!

So I hopped on my bike, don on my helmet and vroom to my favourite one stop computer shop. Even though it looks empty and specialises in repairing and servicing computers, their back storage area is where the play fun begins. Don’t mistaken me because no one is allowed in there but you can just give out your orders, and they’ll puff out the best deals in town. Oh yes… best deals with great friendly service.

It’s a family business for them but all the brothers and sisters recognises me and my dad for our totally crazed haggling power and our big noisy jokes (that’s the secret to getting good prices). Sidetracked again.. I got the ink printer I wanted and was very happy with their price.

Originally the tagged price was RM 98 as you can see on the picture. But Sandy (their younger sister) immediately offered me RM 85. Unfortunately for them, I got a better price in mind. After 15mins of yake-dee-yak of haggling, I got it at RM 80.00!!! Woohooo!!

Certainly makes my day especially after lastnight when my younger sister points out how big I am around the middle.Grr… Sometimes siblings are so irritating about pointing out the obvious.

I am not fat dearie.. I happen to be in the acceptable weight which is 52kg. Just because I drop my ritual exercise of sit ups, crunches and extreme stretching sessions doesn’t mean I’m fat. It’s just undeveloped muscles. Hehehe..

And fat hope will I chug down fat burner pills. My friend used to take it and instead of her middle section shrinking, its her top middle section that shrank. Hahaha..
