Achoo!! *Sniffles* I’m suppose to recover from my cold but I think I just made it worse. It suppose to remain a blocked nose and recover over the week. Too bad for me, the ice berg thawed off and now I am facing the water works.

Chinese New Year, (wabbit season) is nearing. I need to stock up on food since most of the markets and stores would be closed for the long holiday. I don’t like it but since its a major holiday, shops and businesses are closed for the holiday stretch.

Malls and cinemas are closed, which leaves only the beaches and nature walks/ activities for all. It’s better to just sit at home, pile up on the movies and watch them until the CNY clears up. Traffic jams will be a killer so I am not driving *chokes* my dad driving I mean.

To all my Chinese Friends in case I forget, Happy Chinese New Year. May the year be a prosperous one and blessed with longevity.

*sniffles* Sick.. my waterworks is running freely. Yesterday afternoon I was trying my best trying to fight the sickness. Unfortunately by 8pm, I was shivering with fever and I had to no choice but to eat my medication and sleep with a fever on my cells.

My feet and hands are cold while my body is heaty. My feet is the worse cuz every step feels like a thousand needles are poking at the sole of my feet. That’s how sick I am.

Anyway for those who are interested in cheating your body fat, you can always get safe diet pills that work. Exercising is always tiring and takes a lot of time and dedication, thus its always being done haphazardly by most people. For lazy bummers like me, you may take the pills but do not take them without your GP consent.

We do not want you to fall ill due to side effects to your health.

My head is in a swirl, my body feels like a tornado had slammed into it and my heart, don’t want to even express how my heart is crumbling right now. Everything I know about the subject seems so fake. It made me rethink of everything I had known about it.

I am depressed, very very depressed. My sanity is deteriorating slowly and the urge to pummel something into the ground is very real. Too bad, I am too good natured. If only I had a little bit more claws and roars in my attitude.

I need a vacation, really need one. Alone with no interruptions. Perhaps I should go to Outer Banks vacation rentals and rent a beach house there. Tan myself til I get sun bleached and my brain cells dried out.

*Smiles*.. *cracked smile* Ok now that didn’t work properly. Obviously trying to smile during the recent events in my life is tougher than I thought. Somehow I wish things were back before everything happen. Back when rice were still very cheap, fuel prices were affordable and people thinking with their brains instead of their mouth.

It’s a challenge everyday and I am biting every nail and concrete to make sure things doesn’t get complicated. I guess even smarty pants make mistakes and fall on their faces once in a while…

Well things happen for a reason and I have to suck up and fight back.

Currently I am not in the mood to buy gold jewelries. Usually I’d be excited and bouncing when it is time for shopping. But after the recent happenings, I began to tread the waters cautiously. People become fake when it comes to money or anything that has monetary value.The cute angels become horned devils…

So until I get my own cash, I’ll let the gold shine on me.

Being in Sim Lim Square is like walking into Alice in the Wonderland. Endless rows of electronics items. From handphones, cameras and most beloved of all computers.

The escalators are filled will people giving out pamphlets which harbored the best computer and laptop deals. If you are not used to having tons of deals shoved up to you literally into your face, you’d be left bereft once you step outside of the building.

The deals were really good. I managed to get a 4GB thumb drive (SanDisk) at $9.90. It’s much cheaper compared to last year. Their 32GB however is around $20+ or so. However I do not really want to know why I’d want something that big size of a memory unless I’d like to dumb in all of my videos.

Their 1TB hard drive cost around $110 or so. It’s really quite Ok. Anyway I need to go back there since I need to do something to my old PC.

The time to vote has arrived once again in Singapore. The official date has not been released yet but the Registers of Electors has been updated and is now ready for public viewing.

Eligible voters (S’poreans 21 n above) can check their names and constituency online or any of the inspection centres such as the Elections Department or any Community Centres/Club from January 14 till January 27 2011.

*face slams onto the desk* Owww… Now that hurts! Sorry but these past few days I have been feeling myself. Things happened and well things happened. Complications always arises in everyday life and I am taking 10 steps at a time. I will solve each problems as they run me through but I can assure you, by the end of each day, I will be much stronger and better than before.

Right.. Now that is off my chest, let’s get back to the topic at hand. Home theater system or what some calls as home theater furniture. I love, my family loves and almost everyone I know loves having a mini theater in the comforts of their own home.

Speakers, sub-woofers and surround system is the best combination in having your own mini cinema. It is a wonderful experience to hear the sounds being creatively brought out in details by these simple magnets. Well, speakers have huge magnets for those who are oblivious.

I have my own and I love every songs or sounds I turn on. Simply magnificent.

Rain… It is always raining these days. It is an expected weather during these past few months but to be continuously raining without stopping is concerning. I can’t stand in the cold too long and will feel the chills to my bone if the surrounding temperature exceeds my normal limit.

I have been wearing my winter wear in the recent weeks and sleeping in  sweaters without any fan and thick comforters. That too couldn’t stop the aching freezing limbs I wake up to. However I consider myself very lucky that the weather condition here is much better than the rest of the world.

These past few days have also been very tiring for me, mentally draining. It’s a whirlwind of activities and still ongoing. I can’t say much online anymore since the more eyes that knows what is happening could be problematic.

Anyway to O’level students who had received their results, congrats on your achievement. For those who didn’t receive their expected results, don’t worry, just choose the path which you are comfortable with. It is you who makes the school and the marks, so don’t waste it away.

I am a fan of ER and other great shows that involves the ER unit and other staffs of the hospital, saving lives. The actors who played the doctors, surgeons and residents were so real that I could almost feel the tense atmosphere when an emergency operation had to be carried out.

I had also thought that their blue uniforms are just ..uniforms. Then one day while I was chatting with my friend who is a nurse informed me that the blue uniforms are called nursing scrubs.

My eyes popped up at the new information. Why.. why were they called scrub clothing? Isn’t the word scrub means to clean with hard rubbing. Where do this all fits in the naming of the uniform?

Too bad my friend was called back to her ward before she could answer my question. OH well perhaps I could ask my aunt, she was a staff nurse.
