They say to always prepare your umbrella before it rains but in this case, prepare your rain boots before it rains! Here in Malaysia, when it rains, it pours and if you are unlucky enough you may experience a serious dunking of your shoes in the rain as you walked by.

Rain boots

I wanted to get a new pair of slippers since mine was eaten up by the rain. But the moment I got a look of this beauty up there, I changed my mind. It looks sooo cute and the fact that it keeps the rain and chill out of my feet. I have cold feet and it feels like ice whenever it rains.

Hmm… Wonder when daddy dearest can get me one of the cute pairs..

I take off my hats off to working mothers. I don’t know how they manage to juggle work, household chores and their kids. I tried to juggle everything but the constant cleaning up after my niece and nephew mess (the sister is the biggest contributor) is very tiring on my patience.

The sister is always trying new things and in the same time messes up everything that I have cleaned. Her favourite is dinner or lunch time. It is my favourite time with her since I could enjoy watching her eat everything and anything on the table.

However there is a downside. She loves eating as much as she loves feeding the floor. Eating time is always followed by a bath after that. After that, it is a breeze.

The younger brother is a darling. But he loves attention and would get irritated whenever nobody entertains him which inevitably irritates everyone with his crying. It grates on my nerves sometimes since he would cry whenever I am busy with work and no one would bother to entertain him as they too have their own responsibilities. His appetite is something to reckon with. He drinks milk, a healthy portion of 4 oz, at every 2 hrs even at night.

It is a good thing my house has my parents, my younger sister and the parents of the kids. Everyone takes a part in taking care of the children as it is a 24/7 job that needs full commitment. I should know since by the end of each day, I felt as if i had just conquered the Juggernaut.

Already two kids are already running lose and driving everyone to buy anti wrinkle eye cream due to the high frequency of frowning. I wonder how my mom reeled all of my siblings (with me inclusive). We were never that angelic when we were younger…

It shocked the nation and it sure made me nearly choked on my morning coffee when I read the headline news on TheStar paper yesterday. I am talking about yesterday School Of Terror.

What usually is found in the movies and read in fiction books is actually a living reality for a secondary school in Rawang, Selangor. Vandalism and bullies are a norm in schools but serious numbers of molests, drug trafficking, gangsterism, alcoholism and rape cases are certainly not. These offences are very serious in the eyes of the law and even as a human.

Students are sent to school to study, to become a model citizen, not to become the very devils that plagued the community. Whatever happen to parents supervision and the teachers should have brought up serious discipline matters to the ministry and the authorities if the warnings had ceased to make an impact.

From the pictures taken by the reporters, the school looks more of a prison than a school. The public must show their part in their community by complaining to the authorities and appropriate ministry if these bad incidents keep reoccuring.

The saddest part is that instead of bring up students to become model citizens, the school and community has managed to bring up hardcore drinkers and rapist, all who are still underage!

Come on people, do our part and eradicate this mess from our community. 1Malaysia, 1 community, 1 family.

Finally after long hard days and weeks, the house is silent with no cheruby legs running amok. I love the kids and adore them to the core but having a day all to myself once in a while is heavenly.  No noise and mess to clean up, just me, the bed and heavenly pillow.

Seriously I am dead tired. My brain has not stopped working for a few weeks in a row and last night I almost fell asleep during my accounts discussion with my darling. Amazingly when I tried to fall asleep lastnight, the one most important thing that I needed eludes me, making me a walking zombie this morning.

Plenty of eventful things happened this week and the whole tempest left my head spinning and took a major chunk of my heart out. There were laughters and there were lots of heart pain but that is a scenario I do not want to repeat to anyone.

I did watch Shrek Forever After last Thursday, the first screening of the show. It was fun-tastic and since it was a weekday, the cinema was almost empty. Even though it was almost empty, our roaring laughters made up for the empty seats. I love Puss In Boots since he is soooo cute and managed to be chivalrous even when he had sported a huge pot belly and not to mention manipulative.

The movie really made me realise to appreciate and love the ones whom I still have. It also managed to make me shed a tear or two when Shrek confessed that the best thing he had ever experienced was to fall in love with Fiona all over again. It was truly touching. And yes, this is the movie not to be missed since it is the finale of the whole saga.

First few days of mensuration always able to knock me out no matter how many times I’ve went through this womanly process every month. good thing this month I wasn’t so emotional but instead it took a tiring turn on my body.

I was flat dead to the world on my first day. I felt my body as heavy as lead on the second day. Finally today I could work on my toes without being face planted on my desk at every available second. There are alot of things for me this week and I intend to complete it before the week is over.

I’m not sure what’s the fuss is all about but Guardian and Watson is having a promotion discount. Their items ranges from beauty products to sanitary items to best diet pill. I’d rather buy the vitamins, they are much cheaper during promotion.

I’m not sure what’s the real fuss about the kid who was shot by a policeman who was given orders to stop his car but didn’t. I’m talking about the Aminulrasyid’s case that was hot on the press on the 8th May.

The victim was wrong on all charges to my view. Firstly he is underage, 17yrs old, with no driver’s license and drove a car at 2 am in the morning with his group of friends.

Secondly the boy didn’t stop when was ordered by the police during a road block but instead continued to speed off and driving recklessly.

Thirdly, he hit a motorist and broke his leg, sending the poor guy to the hospital in his hit-and-run.

Lastly, the police found solid evidence of weapons in the car boot that normal boys who claimed to be innocent should not be in possession.

With these solid evidence, why the hell are the police sentencing the poor policeman who was doing his duty when the person at fault here is Aminulrasyid himself? Is the police trying to please the public ears and mind by doing this instead of acting on the safety of the public and uphold the law and order?

It has already proven that the boy is wrong. Why in the world is a 17yr old boy driving without license in the middle of the night to god-knows-where? Where was the parents supervision? Why did his parents allow him to drive or even go out at such a time when he is suppose to be sleeping to prepare himself for school the next day?

And why didn’t anyone raise the issue of the poor motorist who was hit by the car? Who is to pay his medical fees and bear the responsible of his broken leg?

The police have also found a stash of weapons in his car boot. What in the world is a group of teenagers doing with weapons? Are they involved with gang fights, robberies or terrorism?

How come all of these are not being brought up? Instead the press keep showing that Aminulrasyid is innocent, good angel and bla bla..

The police should never ever EVER crumble from the pressure of the media and public. They should instead take their time to fully investigate the whole scene before coming up with anything.

The MPs in the parliament and cabinets should support the law and justice instead of pressuring them. There are more important matters to deal within the country than the case of Aminulrasyid. Is the case so important that it beats all the matters of the country and are the MPs trying to say that the police are just stupid kids that need to be taught how to do their jobs?

Where are the justice and laws that the law enforcement has came up with? What happen to prosecuting Mat Rempit parents for their kids irresponsibleness?

Is the law in Malaysia crumbling down in pressure just to please a small group of people?

If this is the case, I’d suggest the police to just change their Standard Protocol for handling each emergency calls to “wait for the proprietor to die first before heading out to the scene of crime and hide when someone tries to go against the law” to make sure that the honorable policemen who do their job with pride doesn’t get wrongly prosecuted just to please the public.

Years have battered me,
Years have matured me,
Years have molded me,
And years have made me wiser.

The heart is beating,
The heart is crying,
The heart is praying,
Yet no one hears it.

My soul is crying,
The rain shadows the cries,
My soul is wrecking,
Slowly oh but slowly falling.

I had a refreshing exhilarating jog with my family this morning. It was from my house to Perling Mall and back. Mom and dad walked there and poor daddy burst his stamina valve half way to the mall. It was great and fun and for the first time in the long months plus whatever incidents that had passed, I felt happy and alive.

I love to feel the adrenaline rush and the breeze on my face when I jog. Even though I do complain about jogging and running at almost everytime the topic popped out, I actually loved it. Perhaps the scientist were right, exercise makes people more happier and refreshed.

Anyway later I am heading out to Jusco Bukit Indah. I need to RnR and run away from the heat by lazing my time away at Jusco. Their air con is chilly cold! By the way, Angsana is having a huge event organised by NTV 7. So my dear motorists, try not to complain in case there is a jam there.

I’m still thinking of all the best ways to make part time income.  I’ve tried paid blogging, tuition, adsense, MLM, direct selling and internet affiliate marketing. Let’s just say the best ones that really gave me a solid part time income is tuition and online blogging.

At the very least I know when I am paid for my services AFTER I’ve done it instead of having to wait until the threshold. The waiting game tests my patience and I am not a patient person when it comes to money.

Ugh.. The kids are crying again. Will update you later. Ciaoz!

I’m tire.. no scratch that and make it exhausted. I’d like to give many thanks to the responsible darlings that managed to drive me to the point of exhaustion.
