I’m not sure what’s the real fuss about the kid who was shot by a policeman who was given orders to stop his car but didn’t. I’m talking about the Aminulrasyid’s case that was hot on the press on the 8th May.
The victim was wrong on all charges to my view. Firstly he is underage, 17yrs old, with no driver’s license and drove a car at 2 am in the morning with his group of friends.
Secondly the boy didn’t stop when was ordered by the police during a road block but instead continued to speed off and driving recklessly.
Thirdly, he hit a motorist and broke his leg, sending the poor guy to the hospital in his hit-and-run.
Lastly, the police found solid evidence of weapons in the car boot that normal boys who claimed to be innocent should not be in possession.
With these solid evidence, why the hell are the police sentencing the poor policeman who was doing his duty when the person at fault here is Aminulrasyid himself? Is the police trying to please the public ears and mind by doing this instead of acting on the safety of the public and uphold the law and order?
It has already proven that the boy is wrong. Why in the world is a 17yr old boy driving without license in the middle of the night to god-knows-where? Where was the parents supervision? Why did his parents allow him to drive or even go out at such a time when he is suppose to be sleeping to prepare himself for school the next day?
And why didn’t anyone raise the issue of the poor motorist who was hit by the car? Who is to pay his medical fees and bear the responsible of his broken leg?
The police have also found a stash of weapons in his car boot. What in the world is a group of teenagers doing with weapons? Are they involved with gang fights, robberies or terrorism?
How come all of these are not being brought up? Instead the press keep showing that Aminulrasyid is innocent, good angel and bla bla..
The police should never ever EVER crumble from the pressure of the media and public. They should instead take their time to fully investigate the whole scene before coming up with anything.
The MPs in the parliament and cabinets should support the law and justice instead of pressuring them. There are more important matters to deal within the country than the case of Aminulrasyid. Is the case so important that it beats all the matters of the country and are the MPs trying to say that the police are just stupid kids that need to be taught how to do their jobs?
Where are the justice and laws that the law enforcement has came up with? What happen to prosecuting Mat Rempit parents for their kids irresponsibleness?
Is the law in Malaysia crumbling down in pressure just to please a small group of people?
If this is the case, I’d suggest the police to just change their Standard Protocol for handling each emergency calls to “wait for the proprietor to die first before heading out to the scene of crime and hide when someone tries to go against the law” to make sure that the honorable policemen who do their job with pride doesn’t get wrongly prosecuted just to please the public.
