I’m having a headache, a slight fever and more headache. My favourite and latest design safety glasses have broken into two. It has a 100% UV protection, can be used for welding and its polarised!!! Now its broken… No doubt I got the pair last year but that was my baby!
I wore it everywhere and even to my meetings since it becomes a handy head scarf whenever I couldn’t find my clips. My poor baby had been through thick and thin (layers of dust gotten from dusty areas) together with me. Now.. RIP Rip Into Pieces.
Haiz.. Now I got to find a new pair. Time to go shopping again… Haiz…

Downloading emails has become a bothersome chore to me. My spam box is filled to the brim. 90% of the emails are about extenze or about penis enlargement. We are all adults and matured thinking here, unless you are n comfortable with the biological scientific word of a sex organ, leave. The ironic of it all is that I do not have a penis and yet these irritating bots keep spamming me till my inbox is filled to the brim.
Firstly, there is no such way to increase the sixe of that boneless muscle. It is just a muscle that is supported by veins and arteries. The reason it is able to increase in ‘size’ is due to the amount of blood that pumped into the veins when the man gets excited.
All those viagras and sex enhancement pills are just pills that increases the blood pressure so that the blood flows much faster to ‘increase’ the man’s penis. Thus, by taking unprescribed sex enhancement pills, the consumer may experience heart attack and high blood pressure.

My first attempt to make sponge cake turns out like Kuih Baulu. I followed everything to the exact word but it turns hard! That’s it, the next time I want to make sponge cake, I’m doing it my way and throw that instruction manual into the dustbin.
I need to slim down.. haiz… it seems to me that this blog is getting more and more like a personal diary instead of an informative blog. I need to exercise but the thought of spending a few hours straining my muscles make me so lazy to exercise! Do I hear people agreeing with me? hahaha…
Friends and business associates had suggested to take diet pills to aid my plight of Fat War. But the thought of putting synthetic things into my blood stream in my Fat War makes me cringe. I know the diet pill side effects and some goes as far as giving the consumers heart attack and stroke.
Nope.. No pills for me. It looks to me that I have to take the kids out for walks more often. Drat it…

Not really sure what is happening to me but I’ve realised that I have not been having a decent 6hrs of sleep per day. I usually went into my room to sleep at 11pm latest but in the end manage to shut my brain at 12++am. I would be awake by 5.30am and sometimes as early as 3am and then wait torturously for the night to slip by.
I had avoided all forms of caffeine a few hours before bed time and even drank chamomile tea to sleep peacefully. Too bad it doesn’t work on me. I have been browsing the pharmacies for the best over the counter sleep aid but didn’t get any. I don’t like putting synthetic chemicals in my system even if it aids me.
So in the end I have decided to exhaust myself both physically and mentally until my system rings the alarms bell. Really need some good rest.

It started with a drizzle and welcomed with a hot sunny day that ended with a shower. That was how I could describe the weather for the day at Perling, Johor Bahru. Went out from my house with my sisters to head out for Jom Heboh at Danga Bay at 10am. Took the public bus which was not surprisingly pack and had to endure a usual 20min ride becoming an hours ride.
The day was so hot that I couldn’t feel the air-con. The bus became stuffy, Mr Sunshine was still smiling and the passengers became restless at the massive jam that had formed when the bus reached Angsana. When the bus finally came to the Danga Bay stop, needless to say, the cause of the jam was due to ignorant inconsiderate drivers who had parked their vehicles on everywhere and anywhere of the area, even at the center of the lane!!
I had expected the Jom Heboh to be very grand with lots of time worthy booths and expo. However I only found same old stalls that can easily be found at any Pasar Malam. There are the normal stalls that sell Crocs fake copy sandals, normal accessories items, clothes and finger foods.
About 5 mins of further walking, I finally managed to get to the heart of Jom Heboh. Uhh..Hmm… Well… It was noisy. It was wet. It was… It looked like typical Kampong Theme Park.

Well in the end I manage to get only Fernleaf 3x milk for extra calcium for Rm10 600gm and of course took a side walk down the park and snap some cute shots of Amamam Princess. Not all the pictures are here though.
It took me an hour to walk around the booths before my patience wears thin and my ear drums starts to ring. It was that loud and stuffy!! It was a good thing I took a public transport back home.

Being in a tropical country, I have never had any experience in handling nor even thought of a fireplace. In fact, the only time I have toyed with the thought was when I thought of a barbeque or after reading a good historical romance book. I didn’t realise that in a tropical country such as Malaysia, there are actually houses that have fireplaces in them, well most of them are older than I was.
I am talking about the fireplaces I’ve stumbled upon during my visits to Cameron Highlands a few years ago. I was really surprised to find out that the fireplaces, some even have outdoor fireplace, are as old as the World War II and some even older.
The architecture of the fireplace and some even outdoor fireplace has a small touch of rustic feeling that left me quite breathless. I happen to love history and anything that has to do with history even with architectural designs is my cup of tea.
Anyway I’m going to Jom Heboh now. Will update the events later. See ya later!!

There have been a lot of questions about how to go to Bukit Indah Jusco. This guide is for tourists from Singapore only unless stated otherwise.
Firstly you have to know that Jusco Bukit Indah is located in Bukit Indah, not in JB Central District. Meaning, it is NOT NEAR City Square JB or even in a driving distance. City Square JB is located north of Woodlands whereas Bukit Indah is located further west of City Square.

From Singapore, SGD$4.00/ person: If you wish to travel using public transport from Singapore with ease, you can just hop on the bus CW3 from Jurong East Bus Interchange. It is the yellow bus and you can easily find their booth once you step out from the MRT station. The frequency of the bus is every 20mins or so.
Just hop on the bus, get off/on at every Immigration Checkpoint and do not alight from the bus until you see the Jusco Shopping Mall which will happen once the bus has exited the Highway. Press the buzzer after the bus has turned the corner and the bus will drop you off at the entrance of the Jusco Carpark. It is much easier and faster to walk from there then the stop before the corner.

One reminder however, do not be surprise if you do not see any bus stop at your stop in Malaysia. Most of the time, they do not have bus stop. So you can alight and board the bus at anywhere.
If you wish to return to Singapore, just exit from the Main Entrance of Jusco Mall, take a walk about a 10 min and you will reach the Bus Stop of Causeway Link Cw3. You cannot miss the bus stop as it has a big yellow sign on the corner of the building. Just approach any of the bus attendants and they will assist you.
- Bus Fare from Bukit Indah: RM5/person
- Bus Fare from Jurong East: SGD$4/ person
- Journey Time: Appx 2hr
~~
From City Square, JB: Exit the City Square and make sure that you are at the streets that have shops and buses. Wait at the stop that has the sign board heading to Perling, Bukit Indah and Taman Tan Sri Yaccob. You can choose from whichever buses that has the sign on. There are a few buses that goes to
- Bukit Indah: 501 (Triton), 221 (Maju), 708 (Green Colour 707 Travel Group).
- Bus fare: Rm2.20
- Journey Time: Appx 30mins
Or you can always ask the bus drivers themselves where they are heading and the fare. They are quite friendly and will help you out.
Once you have board the bus, enjoy the travel as it will show you the parts of JB that not many Singaporeans know of. Since Tesco is beside Jusco, do not alight until the bus has entered a roundabout park in Bukit Indah. Never drop at Tesco as you will have to walk a far distance.
After the bus has exited the roundabout, press the bell and alight. Or you can also approach the driver and ask him to alight you at Jusco. Cross the road and you will reach there.
If you are heading back to Singapore, you can either take CW3 bus back or wait for the buses at the same spot you have alighted only at the other end of the road. Flag them down, pay the same fare and you will be brought back to the city to make your way home via Woodlands CIQ.
~~~
A gentle reminder to all tourists, please respect the locals and the country you are in. Never ever think you are above them in status, rank, monetary value etc. Do not also insult them if the locals are not fluent in English as their primary language is Malay, not English. Do NOT ever make comparisons of the country with your motherland.
I’ve warned you, so if you insist of being ignorant, do not blame anyone for any mishaps that will befall on you.
It is one of the days when everything I do comes back spitting out at me. I kept losing all my pens no matter how many times I have searched for them and got new ones, they still went missing after a few days. I have feeling that my pens have small hair like legs and crawls around the house when everyone is asleep.
My monthly backaches has come to avenge itself by pounding my pain meter to 100%. Everything I eat tasted bland and I yesterday I found out that my uncle had an accident that left him with broken leg, accident wounds and warded in the ICU for a few hours.
The students whom I have been tutoring had a nice wake up call least week when they sat for my mock exam papers. I took the past year papers for SPM and PMR and gave them each their respective papers. The result was disastrous. None of them passed and realised that they have been sleeping for a long time and if it still continues, they will never pass their exams.
Which was why I came up with a new regimental routine for their self studies that involves in daily revision of every chapters from Form 1 and loading them up with mountains of homework. It is about time they realise that homework = revision = passing the exams with flying colors.
I have also embarrassingly found out that benzoyl peroxide is actually Oxy Acne Remover. I had a tough time trying to find what the product was until I read the large fonts underneath the Oxy brand on the front of the box. I had wanted to purchase benzoyl peroxide from acnescarremoval.org for my younger sister since she has a bad case of teenage hormonal changes.
But ever since I found out that Benzoyl Peroxide is Oxy, I can just head to any pharmacies or Watsons and get the acne cream.
And by the way, Jom Heboh Malaysia is opening this Saturday at Danga Bay. Is anyone attending? I’m not sure since the jam would be massive and I am not going to get caught in the jam that will result in spending lots of time in the bus more than shopping at Jom Heboh.
If only Malaysia allows RV roaming in the roads, I would be one happy camper. I’m not kidding. I love having my dad driving us to our point of destination even up to Thailand. I get to see everything that passes my eyesight, from the different types of architecture of each state to meeting the locals and sharing my customs with theirs (meaning- FOOD!).
When driving long distance, my family love to take a van to accommodate everyone’s comfort of the long drive. Having to sit for hours creates massive back pain and butt crams, which is why we need a large space to stretch and relax. Unlike taking the direct route to our destination, via train or flight, we get to stop at any place we like, snuggle ourselves into the area and get a little souvenir for every place I have visited.
In all of my road travelling in Malaysia, I have managed to soak myself in hot springs, jump into a dive pool of a waterfall in Jeram Linang and visit all the historical sites that used to be Black Area during the communist era which I can bet not many Malaysians have ever been to.
However until the government allows RV on their roads, I would just have to browse the catalogs of rv for sale and swallow my yearning for a road trip with my portable hotel, uh I mean house.
I watched Clash of the Titans. It was great watching Perseus going through all the trouble to save Argos from the giant Kraken. But it was too short and a movie that is advisable to watch once only as the memory of the story will just fade away after a week. The action was too little, the scenery was beautiful and I don’t feel awed and connected when I watched the movie as I would while watching Avatar or Dawn of the Dead.
Anyway my darling and I dined at one of the diners in City Square, Portuguese chicken or something. The chicken was nice but the baked rice was bloody disgusting! For the first time, I couldn’t finish the disgusting food. I’d make a habit to always finish up all my food no matter how full I was to show my appreciation of the hard work a person has to do to bring food to the table.
But the baked curry rice was a disgusting platter. The curry was a thick sauce, most probably they added starch to make it thick. The taste of the curry was neither the normal curry nor Japanese curry, they should have added extra chili in it to make it more spicier so it wouldn’t taste so bland. The only nice thing about the backed rice was the pathetic amount of melted cheese on my curry. Ugh!! Curry and cheese DO NOT go along together.
That is the first time I dined there and it will be the very last I would ever step into it. No doubt the enticing sweet smell of the chicken drives drones of customers to the shop, but I’d rather eat chicken rice or Kenny Rogers half chicken platter. There wasn’t even a nice tangy flavour that make their chicken unique that could make customers crawling back for more.
In fact, the first time I tasted the chicken, I knew the recipe immediately. Not going to share it here but I do know the recipe for it. In fact it was the recipe I used when I first tried my hands in making my own version of chicken rice.
Overall the day was quite memorable as it ends with a live show of a gang fight right outside the main entrance of City Square, a few meters from my coffee spot. I’m not sure what the boy, I really mean boy.. He doesn’t even look a passable 16. So the boy was chased down by a group of teenagers. He was running when the teenagers managed to pull him down and kick the daylights out of him.
It happened so fast that I couldn’t even scream for help. After making sure that the victim was totally flat out, I could hear them scream curses and insults at him. I could hear the victim’s girlfriend who also looked just passed puberty screaming for them to stop. Amazingly after they group left, another group of stick people (they are skinny, mixture of both sexes and one of the boy caught my attention since he looks as young as my primary 5 student!) appeared from the spectators and crowded the boy.
I had thought they would give him immediate medical help. Instead they crowded around him to demand who had felled their comrade. Cheh!! It was then I realised that those stick people are his gang members. What a waste of time! If they were true friends, they would have never hide themselves amongst the crowd but in fact stepped out and help to defend or settle the cat fight diplomatically.
By then the police patrol had came along and took reports from everyone. The gang members were still trying their best to act macho and enraged at the unjust that had befallen their gang member. That shows the stupidity of the gang. They should have just stick at being at home and reading their textbooks instead of playing police and thief.
Anyway that happened to be the end of my eventful day.
