My beloved desktop PC nearly gave me a heart attack. It insist on not cooperating with me and stubbornly refused to boot up. There was no light, no alarm, except for the whinning sound of the fan. I had thought my power supply or motherboard had died on me again.
The stress was close to sending me to a hospital. I hate waking up to a horrible morning with a dead PC on my desktop. So at 9am, I unplug every cable accessories to my PC and lugged it into my dad’s bike and vroomed off to my favourite computer repair shop.
Luckily the shop was opened and after an hour of watching the technicians fussing and vacuuming (yes vacuuming!!) my PC, my darling finally woke up from slumber and whirred to life. I was so very happy that I nearly hugged the my friend over the counter. The last I visited them to bring my PC to the ICU, I had to burn a few hundred in my bank account. Furthermore, I’m so going to get the PC that she was selling as a new set.
Then as my dad and I headed back home with my darling resting comfortably at the front, I caught sight of an enraged motorcyclist couple quarreling on a road shoulder. They had parked their bike and was on the road side, quarreling loudly and pushing each other to the road. Not really sure why they were quarreling but the guy really had a huge chin acne on his face.
So many eventful things happened within 2 hours and its not even noon yet!

It’s once again the revered day, the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. As it is a most respected day in the Islamic Calendar, it is not a surprise to find Muslim countries declaring it as a National Holiday for the birth of our Prophet.
I for one am itching to head out and attend all the functions that my fellow Muslims have planned for this day. There will be recital of the Quran, lectures given by profound Islamic leaders and of course the recital of the Selawat in praises for his Majesty.
In fact, I am quite giddy by just thinking of participating in the events. Not everyday I can get myself in such events. Previously I was too busy to attend but today, I’m revved up!
To all Muslims in the world, Blessings to All and Many blessings to his Majesty, Prophet Muhammad s.a.w

Need to get another one of those arthritis treatment heating rub for my parents. Initially I was skeptical at getting those medical balms for my parents. Duh! There is no such cure for arthritis unless you can somehow pump in permanent lubricating oil into the affected joints.
So as a skeptic, I had rubbed the balm onto my aching knee and I could feel as if my knee was on fire not the hot scalding fire but a soothing fire. Surprisingly it eased my aching knee and I was up and running like a doe.

It really works and you can get any brand, not just stick to Tiger Balm only.

I need a new set of office wear clothing and new shoes!!! I know I’ve been slacking off on my office clothes but I didn’t realise the severity of it until a few days ago. Now I’m stuck with the chore of clothes shopping. I don’t mind shoe shopping since it’s very easy to me but office wear shopping… ugh! That is one thing that I’m terrible at.
I prefer my clothes to be colourful and have a slight taste of life and essence in it. So if I have to choose a black suit with whatever stripes to a simple batik prints sundress, I’d gladly take the sundress. However the blouse from Free People, its a brand name, found below does look nice, at least it’s not a funeral procession all-black design. (>”<)

And what in the world is the problem with shoe makers these days? All the covered toes shoes are either strangling my poor toes or trying to chop it off. It is more horrifying when the shoes start to bite on my heels and cut off my blood circulation. Whatever happen to comfortable comfort shoes?
Are Crocodiles, Scholl, Alan Deon, Americaya, Hush Puppies and that other well known brand that I can’t remember, the only ones who make shoes for the OUCHY-FEET people like me?
I am seriously thinking that shoes makers are trying to cut off our feet and make feet mannequins out of it.

I took a personality test recently to see what type of personality I have. According to their theory, it is usually used by employers to see what type of employee they would be hiring. Don’t ask me why they think I need more responsibilities to boost my morale but I think that point is a bit off. So what do you guys think? Is this who I really am?

Who would have known that searching for a new job would be eye straining and body lagging. Ok so body lagging is not a proper term but hey, it’s my blog and thus, it’s my thoughts and words here.

It had been a slow process of picking and choosing the best job for me. Frankfully speaking, almost all of the jobs I had experienced in. The only job I’ve not had my hands on is Marine, Oil & Gas Industry and Aviation. I’m yearning to learn something new and thinking of advantage those industry would provide me send adrenaline rushing through my veins.
Hopefully I get a new job that is challenging, doesn’t make feel as if I’m rotting away and hopefully..really hopefully I get my hands dirty. I really miss having the dust, dirt and grime covering my body as I try to wriggle through the cat walks during my job station in Singapore.
I’m a hands on gal and gets bored almost easily whenever I had to be reinstated in the office again. I’d trade my Oblivion Game for getting back into the manual labor. Perhaps that is my secret to quick weight loss diet. Hehehe..
No pills for me..but give me grime and manual job and I’m all go! I wonder when I could get into action again. It’s getting a little boring staring at the monitor all day..
Oh ya, I made a new batch of cookies the other day. Not sure why it increased it’s size by three times but it sure taste nicer than Famos Amos! Will include the recipe later!!

It’s finally Saturday and too bad for me there was nothing interesting in the news today. A mug of coffee and breakfast on my front yard did nothing to boost my still sleeping brain cells even though I had awaken an hour earlier. After a week staying at my sister’s house in Pasir Ris have made me miss the little tots.
I miss waking to their high pitched laughter, someone peeling my eyelids open or even facing the little hunny giving me a hickey on any part his 4 baby teeth can get. Okay, perhaps not that one since I still have his teeth marks on my hip! But I still miss my cute little darling nephews..
As you can see, that cheeky smiling darling above is my personal favourite, Muhammad Danial Afik a.k.a Aby-aby or Apek by me. He is the little angel that gave me hickeys whenever I’m sleeping and I’m not sure how his small legs could allow him to climb onto the bed.
I don’t have his other siblings picture with me. I didn’t have time to get a proper picture of them since they were both busy running around and creating more mischief than their parents could handle.
Perhaps one day, in the upcoming months when Afik is more stable on his feet, I’d bring the kids out for a walk around. I’ve been wanting to bring them out to see the Merlion and get some nice pictures of them near a water fountain but not near those pond fountains. I don’t trust them not to dip themselves in the pond.

Had a great time last week and for those who are craving to get a glimpse of the pictures we took, head out to Pixies to get the pictures. Don’t worry, you may even download it down and print it out later guys. It’s still in the original format, so its original quality remains!
Currently I’m feeling very sleepy and the coffee is not working for me. No amount of caffeine can make me awake. grr..
I was suppose to get a friend of mine her list for Medicare supplement, somewhat like our Medisave but it looks more like an insurance scheme to me. Well I gotta go now. See ya all later!

It’s finally here, the explosive holidays sharing their own special days on a same day!! It’s both Chinese New Year and Valentines Day. Even though I don’t celebrate Valentines but I do love celebrating CNY. It’s the only time I get red Ang Baos without having a red face. I’m still single so I have every right to collect my money! Hahah..
Yesterday I went to Sentosa Island and had a great day traisping through the clean and green island. The water was fantastic, weather was great and the scenery was scattered with tourists! Took plenty of pictures and there were a few times when I felt as if my eyes were seriously burned through.
I was at Pahlawan Beach, swimming and enjoying the cooling water at the dip station. Then there came this tourist couple and parked themselves at the coconut tree, nearest to the shore. As usual, I swam around while occasionally watched for anything/ anyone suspicious nearing my tree of possessions. Since the couple was near my tree, I had to glance at them and at that untime moment, I nearly drowned at the shocking sight.
The guy who was very plumb and in his late fourties had the strangest swimming trunks to my point of view. However upon further inspection and straining my eyes from the sun, I finally saw his what was on his ankles and on his hands. It didn’t need to a genius to figure out that the boxers he was wearing was on his ankles and his still unworn swimming trunks on his hands meant his what initally looked like weird trunks on his bum was acutally his own hairy naked bum!!
It was shocking, disgusting and the sight made me lost my balance in the water and made me choked mouthfuls of salty water. Why in the world can’t he walked 200m to the nearest changing toilet and change? At the very least cover his arse with a towel dammit! There were kids, UNDERAGE KIDS, on the beach.
There were so many weird characters yesterday that nearly made me lose my composure and stranggle them for being obnoxiously rude. There was too many for me to account for and spoil my perfect Sunday morning! However there was this irritating man in the MRT while I was heading back home from Vivocity that tempted me to show him what my fangs could do to him.
He had been staring and smiling at me for quite a while. His friends were beside him and after a while, I watched him enegaged them in a conversation, it was about my fangs. He didn’t need to be so obvious in talking about me. NO need the hand actions and facial expressions along with the finger pointing in my direction. Hello! I am still here and very much able to figure out you’re making a fun of me.
It took him a death glare and an open mouth sneer from me to make him shut up. I know my teeth can win the next Vampire Teeth of the Century but that idiot need not need to make a fun of my special teeth so obviously. To think that a person in his late 40’s were suppose to be subtle and mature.
When did Singaporean become so callous and rude?
Grr.. Anyway later on I’m heading to the Singapore Expo Hall 6B for an exhibition. Want to view what PropNex have to offer on resale houses. I heard Linda A, the agent, is great in her offers. Need to head there!!

Finally after a few days holidaying in Changi Hospital, dad is finally out and ready to conquer the world. Well, not fully ready but apart from his slight facial condition, he passed the ECG, CAT Scan and MRI with flying colours. He is still under house arrest by my elder sister and will return back home tomorrow without any fuss from her.
It’s 9.32pm right now and I can barely open my eyes, not to mention watching my steps on my sister’s favourite floor tiles. She does have a nice marble flooring but if I am really tired, not even a handsome Taufik Batisah could make my eyes open.
Oh yes, we are currently still lodging at my elder sister’s place and will do so until tomorrow. It’s her bossy mejsty orders to put dad under her house arrest. I can’t open my eyes anymore. Balancing a few weak hours of sleep per day and worrying over dad and job in the day takes quite a toll on my brain cells.
Need to sleep now..
