What is Adsense Filter Ads and how to use it to our full advantage?

Adsense Filter Ads is used to filter out the Ads that are either priced at a low range per click or page view that will only give you a few cents and also to block out Ads that had been blacklisted by Google, inevitably wasting your time.

I have used AdsBlackList.com to generate my websites competitive filtering ad lists and had to delete all the duplicated sites before putting it on Google Adsense Competitive Filtering Ad.

Unfortunately Google only allowed 500 sites to be filtered so I couldn’t input all of my 597 sites. For those who are interested in the lists of sites I have came up with, you can copy them and paste it on your own Adsense account.

I have been browsing through websites after websites trying to get a good supplier for hinges and indicator door latches for my company’s new product which I am not going to leak out.

Anyway I was browsing through the list of suppliers and websites when I saw a pretty looking door. See the one on the left? It reminded me of this colonial or was it a Victorian house I saw on one of the house magazines.

The picture is taken from Ft Myers custom doors that does a wonderfully beautiful crafted custom doors. They even do custom wrought iron doors and the design I stumbled upon their site was quite amazing. I was also quite fascinated on the engraved doors.

I’m still waiting for a call or perhaps a reply from RHB about the matter of why my card is denied by PayPal after all the so many troubles I had to go through getting the new RHB Tesco Debit Visa Card. Considering that the last time I gave a friendly call to the careline center was last Friday, I’m going to wait for a few more days before I start harassing the RHB careline.

Last Sunday I managed to watch an infurating and embarassing match of Singapore Lions versus Liverpool. As usual, Singapore national soccer team SUCKS! I would have thought after having the experience of playing with Manchester United years back would have thought them a lesson on Team Support.

Unfortunately these dumb Lions only think about saving their two small insignificant balls instead of the large checkered ball from entering their territory and the goal. So much for being a ferocious Lion. They should change their name to the SG Kitty Cats.. meow..meow.. They are harmless to their opponents.

I’m not a real fan of soccer and never could name any famous names without scrunching my face, trying to think of a name but when it comes to FIFA or SE-Asia Games, I become an avid supporter of the sport.

Watching the Liverpool taking thrashing out Singapore National Soccer Team made me groaned, moaned, flinched, winced and slapping my forehead at their bad strategy and BAD ball handling. BLOODY EMBARASSING!!!

I had thought after Liverpool having a draw with Thailand a few days back, we would at least see one goal from the Lions. I wouldn’t put my hopes too high on the Lions since Thailand Soccer Team is very strong but to be thrashed at 5-0?!! Malu-nye AKU!!!

So Paiseh man.. I was so disappointed and embarassed at the match by the Lions that by the third goal done by Liverpool, I just turned off the TV and fumed off. How could the Lions disappointed thei loyal supporter?

If this is how they are playing with Liverpool, I can conclude that during the next SE-Asia, Singapore is going to be a total Loser.

It’s raining here and unfortunately I couldn’t come up with any great ideas to blog and play a few pranks on my family. I just ran out of ideas.. Haiz..

I was reading on the local gossip papers this morning about wives filing divorce against their husband at their inability to keep up with their husband’s sex drive. It’s not unusual for their married partners to have a high sexual drive and other fetishes and what differentiate this news from other familiar news like this was the bogus number of times the husband had engaged in his wife.

17, seventeen, that is the number of times the husband did with his wife each day or more or less within that range since they were married. I’ve heard of wives complaining of never having from their spouses but never have I heard of getting more than she can handle.

But seventeen?? Hmm.. If you ask me, the man either has too much active testosterone or took too much aphrodisiac. How in the world he managed to get it into hyper mode every day is way beyond my comprehension.

Anyway I need to go for a walk later and take in the cold, crisp fresh air thanks to the rain just now. I want to stroll in the park, play at the swing, swing my legs while I take a seat at those tall benches that is usually found there and perhaps read up on the latest doodles left on the outdoor furniture that vandals had done.

I should drag Ayu along.. hehehe.. she needs the walking exercise.

I am very frustrated with Paypal and RHB. I tried to use my RHB TESCO Visa Debit card to withdraw funds from Paypal and had been very unsuccessful after many attempts. In fact when I had tried to add my new Visa Debit to  my list of cards, Paypal keep denying my request, stating that the card I have is denied by my bank.

I do have another paypal account but I usually used it for another purpose and since I am a Singaporean, I didn’t have any problems trying to withdraw the funds into my Singapore bank account. But I wanted to withdraw into my Malaysian bank account instead since I’d be taking the advantage of the Forex exchange of USD to MYR.

Unfortunately both Paypal and RHB doesn’t want to compromise with me. I have tried and tried and TRIED to add my new card to Paypal and its getting on my nerves everytime the error message pop out onto my browser.

I have contacted RHB twice on this matter and they themselves have been quite clueless on this issue since by right, the card should be able to work. Grr… Very frustrating and I really needed the cash! Haiz..

This is whole thing is trying my patience and it only takes a few more problems adding to this case before I finally burst my pressure washers, or was it burst my bubble? Uh…

Haiz.. I think I better vent out my frustration on my car instead. I need to complete a new circuit that had been nagging my mind for days now.

I had a fun time watching a funny Japanese Drama for two days. My Boss, My Hero is a great family drama and my whole family had a great time breaking our stomach in laughters. The actors were superb and their facial expressions work in line with the manga.

The drama is about a 28yr old Yakuza heir from a well feared clan. Everyone who ever heard of him knew he is a person to be feared in as he is the strongest and meanest Yakuza. Unfortunately there is one thing he is bad, real bad in and that is Education. Due to his inability to close a deal with another Yakuza gang, no thanks to his stupidity in Maths, his father had decided to send him back to high school.

Graduate from High School or risk having his position as the next Yakuza leader be forfeited to his younger brother, Sakaki Makio with much reluctance entered the high school as a 17yr old transfer student. Somehow in his cover-up as a student, he managed to learn many things especially having fun.

Ugh.. and he’s obsessed with pudding! He did anything and everything to get his beloved pudding.. hehehe..

I really love the story! Who would have expected the Yakuza heir could become so childish and humane. It also gives me a good view of their classroom furniture, making me wish that my Secondary School class furniture was as clean as theirs. There were so many d00dles on my desk that I had to wrap wrapping paper onto the desktop to cover up all the crude remarks left by previous students.

It’s been a long time since I posted anything and thinking back, I had to blame it solely on my busy schedule. Well it’s not really that busy it’s more of a normal routine like trying to remember everyone of my family member’s password, login IDs, company accounts, tutoring my younger sister in her weak subjects everyday, keeping track of important dates and events and at the same time recovering from a bad cold.

Ugh.. and never try to work while you’re having a bad cold and under the influence of cough medicine. I tried to work during my sick hours and unfortunately the only I managed to do was to stare at a sentence for 15mins, trying my best to comprehend the meaning.

Anyway I am recovered now and ready to blast at everyone. Well not fully recovered since I still couldn’t recall all the important details that I had chucked into my memory corner months back.

I did my own Malaysia passport picture and managed to save Rm12/ Rm10 for 4 passport photos. Most probably know that with more photo printers out in the market, it only take a few years or perhaps even weeks before users like me take the full advantage of the technologies we have at hand. I only wasted my ink, an A4 photo paper to get my 20pcs of passport size photo.

Steps to make your own Passport Photo.

1) Take a picture of your family members on a white plain background, preferably. Or if you don’t have a white background, get a plain colored wall of any color and snap your photo.

2) Load your picture into your computer. Open up Adobe Photoshop and open the picture.

3) Using a magnetic lasso tool, trace the outer part of your model (family member) until all of the outer part of your model is traced out. Then copy it (Ctrl C), open a new canvas and paste (Ctrl V) the copied picture into the new canvas.

4) Do some editing of your new picture like erasing some unwanted lines. If the picture is too dark, you can always edit the brightness by going to your top navigator bar: Image–> Adjustments–> Brightness/Contrast. Adjust the brightness and contrast as you wish.

5) Now unlock your background found in the Layers Window by double clicking on the Background Layer. Click on the paint bucket tool and set your foreground color to this hex number #096F96. Now fill the background layer with this color.

6) Now that is done, save the file both in Psd and Jpeg format. Let’s name this file as model.psd and model.jpeg.

7) Close all the canvases in the window and open up your model.jpeg. Make a new canvas of a A4 size format. Now this will be quite tricky.

On the empty A4 canvas, Press Ctrl R, to activate the ruler mode. Now you can see the rulers on both axis. Right click on the ruler and choose the option “cm“.

9) Going back to model.jpeg canvas, Press Ctrl A to select all and copy the image, Ctrl C.

10) Now head back to your A4 canvas and paste the image. Don’t panic if it’s too big. Bring your model.jpeg copied image to the end of the ruler where the 0cm dimensions are. Press Ctrl T, freeform transformation, click on the corner edge of the picture and press the SHIFT button. Scale down your picture until you have a height of 5.5cm.

11) Click on the Rectangular Marquee Tool. Shift your picture to the left by using your arrow keys on the keyboard and position it as how you would want your picture to look in your passport. Don’t worry about the picture being out of the canvas.

12) Once you are satisfied with how it will look, use the Rectangular Marquee Tool and click on the top edge of the picture where the ruler meets and drag it until you have reached the dimension of 5.5cm height and 4cm width.

13) Copy the picture and paste it on the canvas again. Delete the original one you did just now and keep repeating the paste instruction until you are satisfied with the amount of picture you wanted.

14) Arrange your pictures nicely with s bit of border for cutting.

15) Now save that A4 canvas as a jpeg file. Print it out and there you have it, your very own passport size photos! See the sample of my younger sister’s photo I did below.

Michael Jackson had died on June 25 2009 and yet his news is still hot like pancakes. Unfortunately these hot news do not only concern of his cause of death but the media has decided a juicy gossip is a golden treasure.

I’m talking about all the nonsensical gossips and so called real news about Michael Jackson when he was alive. He is already dead and let him rest in peace in his grave. Why must he while even in death be the punchline of every media out there?

Gossips like he’s gay, not the biological father of his kids and other things really disgusted me. When he was alive, everyone made a huge joke out of him, a single mistake he did and poof, all the media is on him like ants smelling sugar. Does the media ever bothered about all the good things he has done? All the charity work he did for the needy people? NO! Instead the media haunts him like the hounds of hell for his fall.

Seriously if theres anyone to be blamed for Michael’s death, I’d blame it solely on the media. It is their fault that he died of stress. They had placed too much stress and pressure on him. Why can’t they see if as a normal person?

Why can’t they view Michael as a loving and caring father who like all fathers, does his best for his children and family?

Enough of Michael Jackson news and gossips. He’s dead now, let him rest in peace. Let us all pray for his soul and for him to be embraced into heaven.

It really looks as if bullying in school has gotten from bad to worse. I read the morning papers today and had to raise an eyebrow at the news of girls bullying others and spreading their acts in the Internet of their recorded act. Kids from Form 1 are practicing this act of picking on the weak usually a single number while the bully has a group of cronies to watch and even join in the fun. It used to be an act which boys would indulge in but unfortunately girls have found interest in it.

Unlike the boys, the motive of these girls who usually become a bully would always pick a fight with another girl mainly due to jealously, competition over a boy’s attention and perhaps just for fun to see others cower in fear at the sight of the bully.

Amateur girl bullies would usually just corner the poor victim in a secluded area, usually the girls toilet, and publicly humiliate the girl by or engage in girl fights which usually involves in hair pulling, slapping, kicking and beatings. I would never add punching in the activity since most girls can’t even clench their fists in the correct form of punching.

I just don’t understand why girls would want to bully other girls, aren’t they also from the same sex as them? Isn’t the act of picking a fight with others an unladylike act and against the very belief of their faith?

I was lucky to be in schools that never practice bullying even though there are a few handful of bad stock. Heck, I was brought up in a notorious neighbourhood school that even the police had a great knowledge of but I never once had to face a bully. Perhaps it had been the fact that all the students in the same same year as me were closely related to one another and we thought each other more as brothers and sisters instead of enemies.

Sure there were some green eyed monsters that momentarily spread rumours and stab our backs whenever we are unware but to openly engage in a fight? Neah.. that’s just not us. We prefer to have more friends and solving our differrences in  more peaceful way.

Unfortunately this isn’t the case of the bullies that are running rampant in the society right now. Perhaps schools should make more curricular activities that forces all the students to work together as a team once a week and split those students that usually stick together in classes and partner them up with other students. That is the only way I can think of that will force the students to get to know one another and lessen the number of bullies.

It’s a rainy way to start my Sunday. It had rained and poured for days now, stopping once in a while just to tease the temperature up to it’s normal degrees Celsius when it’s too chilly for the inhabitants of Tmn Tan Sri Yaccob. The rain is a blessing since a few weeks back I was complaining at the heat and trying my best to cool off.

My younger sister, Ayu, and I have made a new website, http://www.mangareview.info. It is all about Manga Review and since both of us are quite the Otaku for the Japanese comic books, we have decided to make this more than just a hobby. Apart from writing reviews of all the mangas we have read, unfortunately its too many to count, we will include pictures of the manga, colored ones hopefully, and give out free manga wallpapers.

As the site is still new, the wallpapers and photo gallery is still in further tweaks since I couldn’t find a decent picture to edit and re-designing it to make it look mouth watering. Ayu will be in charge of doing most of the reviews while I just sit back, read more mangas, beta read her review before it’s published and become a bum.

And don’t ask what’s with Jaken, I like him and I think him as cute.

Which reminds me, I need to take a look and compare all the insurance rates the agents have given me. I need to get the best term life insurance rates for myself and my family especially with all the H1N1 virus flying around. I’m still not fully recovered from my flu, NORMAL flu, not the fatal one.
