Yes! Finally after playing and grunting in frustration at my inability to earn enough gold, be strong to defend those pesky players who love to hit-n-run me, I finally am able to get some work done.

And I’m so happy I got into the Hit-List of the Dragon Wars Facebook Game. Hehehe.. Not everyday I became so popular!

Anyway below are some cracked stuff I had for my path to victory.

1) So you just started to play the game. Great! First as usual, do as many quests that enables you to get more gold.

2) Don’t forget to rally up your alliances because these friends of yours are your bodyguards when people like  me who loves to raid and leave you all bloody comes to fight and rob you off of your gold. If you are unable to get your friends to join, no problem, go to the discussion board of the game usually found when you scroll down the screen of the game as seen on the attached picture below. Then just write on the wall of the game “Add me for Dragon Wars”. I confirm and guarantee that you will be invited at least from 10 players.

Facebook Dragon Wars

3) Right so you have your gold and your alliances, now we need to invest your gold in Land. Before you can buy Training Grounds which cost 12,000 gold, you need buy a Town Lot which cost 50,000 gold. By now your income per hour would be 17,300 gold. You can choose to wait for your gold to increase per hour or you can head to the next operation to be stinking rich.

4) Once you have enough gold to get at least an Adolescent Dragon (60,000gold),  and other high end attack gears like Flaming Sword, you can now head to the Battle tab and begin your step into plundering the poor defenseless players. Muahaha… It’s time to get dirty!

5) After doing all the quests that gives out Magic Item and collect them all, you can now open the Battle tab. Choose the players that have alliances lesser than you and view their stats by clicking on their name. I prefer opening them on a new tab or window so I can keep track who is the better prey and the easy target.

Choosing your prey

Choosing your prey

Choose only the lowest alliances you can find so that when you attack them, you are easily overwhelmed.

Player Stats

Player Stats

Now see the number of territories this person has? This shows that he is rich and most probably earning around 30,000 gold each hour. This is the type of prey you want to attack and rob. However before you can attack him, you have to look at the number of dragons he has. His alliances will use them to fight against you.

If you have a higher alliances such as 20 alliances and your prey has only 10, then your chances of winning is high. You can attack him. Take note that not every player keeps his money on hand, so don’t expect much gold. If the prey that you attacked only gives you a low sum of gold, say 900 gold, you can go on to the next target until the prey that you attacked gives you a huge number of gold like 10,000 gold.

I have gotten 70,000 gold from my preys plenty of times and you can just imagine the number of gold I received per player. You can continue attacking the player until he dies or get iced. Then you have to proceed to your next prey and the process continues.

70,000 gold that I managed to plunder

70,000 gold that I managed to plunder

In some rare times, you will receive Magical Items in between your attacks and this is such a sweet thing apart from getting gold from other players.

Remember to always heal yourself when your health reaches 30 or you will get into trouble. Oh yeah, if you keep continuing plundering others, expect your name to appear on the hit list soon. Some players can be such a sore loser.. hahaha..

6) When you do get rich, do not forget to always invest in more land and get the latest the weapons and keep increasing your alliances so that you will be a hard player to be targetted.

*this section will be updated the moment I get more information on the game.

It’s my younger sister B-day today and so here it goes “Happy Bird-Day YuYUT!!”

Hehehe…

With that over, now let’s get down to business. My cat was involved in an accident, I’m not sure what happened but I’m guessing he was either beaten by someone or got bitten by some stray dogs. His lower jaw is broken, both his upper hind legs are broken and he has bad scratch and bite marks all over his body.

I was shocked to find him in that state and was a bit miffed by his Tom-Catting ways and always coming back home whenever he his hungry, I didn’t immediately attend to him as I should have. Late at night, when I finally searched for him, I found him in a very pathetic state, curled up on one of my tool bags.

Haiz.. Even if I did bring him to a vet, they can’t do much to assist his recovery except giving him a shot of perhaps anti-biotics and pain killers. Instead, I brought his drinking water kitty bowl to him and waited for him to lap the water up. After a minute of calling his name, he finally woke up, sniff at the bowl and drink.

There were some leftover meat from dinner and I washed the Rendang curry off and shred it into tiny pieces. He finished them all and continued to sleep. I’m relieved that he is able to eat because knowing my cat, he eats as much as his stomach allows him to.

This morning, I had to whip up some congee for a sick cat which consist of Ikan Bilis (Anchovies) blended into small pieces, porridge and blend the two into puree. After waking Hitam (my cat) up, I was quite worried that he would reject it since he loves to eat Bayam (Spinach) for breakfast everyday, However he made today an exception. He ate it! Well not much just 5 teaspoons of it before he meowed loudly for his drinking bowl.

Ugh..this cat is too pampered.

Anyway I’ve left him to sleep for a while. Perhaps during lunch time I would wake him up to eat again.

In the meantime, I’m going to write a cheat code for Dragon Wars.

It’s the year of the golden Ox and that means, behold and hail the “Niu”!! I don’t speak much of mandarin but I do remember the meaning of “Niu” and all thanks to my good friend who taught me the differences between “Nyi-Ren” and “Niu-Ren” hehehe… Thanks Quiting!

At the first stroke of midnight on the first day of “Niu” year, here in Skudai, the sky were lighted up with showers of fire crackers, fireworks and it lasted for more than an hour. Chinese New Year has always been my favourite since I get to see lots and lots of fireworks fired off by the folks here. So its usually sleepless night on the first night of CNY.

Anyway I didn’t do much on the first day of CNY except cooking even though we had planned to go for a swim at Batu Layar. Luckily we didn’t head there because on the same day, four people drowned at Batu Layar; all were overwhelmed by the large waves and strong current of the wave.

Second day was at least quite interesting. Woke up at 6.30am, head out for breakfast at 7.30am. The roads were empty and you can literally sleep on it without the fear of getting run over. The air was fresh and crisp and it was sooo peaceful. I love CNY! Everyone is too busy sleeping in if they are in the city while the rest are all back in their Kampong, catching up with other relatives.

After breakfast we headed out to Gunung Pulai for a walkabout in the Hutan Simpanan (Reserved Forest). There is a waterfall there and considering the air is fresh and the day so fine, we had wanted to spend some time there. Unfortunately when we reached there, it was closed to the public and there were troops of fire fighters and police there. We weren’t quite sure what happened then until this morning.

A pilot from New Delhi, who flies as a hobby, was reported to be trapped for six hours in Gunung Pulai when his two-seater Cassena plane crashes earlier on Monday. No wonder we weren’t allowed entrance but the men in uniforms were kind and friendly enough to give us some allowances to the premise which we of course politely declined. If there are any men in uniforms in large numbers, I would never want to be caught trapped in them. Nu-uh!

Our little picnic cancelled, we then headed out to Ayer Hitam via the old highway with no tolls and where the roads snaked through the villages and towns. Smooth ride with lots of kids running around, some stark naked and dunking themselves in the rivers. Heheh.. Oh I do miss my old times in the Kampong..

Didn’t do anything much in Ayer Hitam except buy some of my favourites snacks and then head back home.

It’s a stupid thing to do and I’m regretting it. I got a broken nose, a bruised ego, an aching heart and a major headache. And it’s only 10am! I can’t bend down or I’ll start experiencing the real meaning of earth moving under my feet.

I’m not going to go into the account of how it happened. It sucks and it will just make me feel like the world had ended instead of getting angry over it. Perhaps I’m just a bad sister, a real loser in being an elder sister. Oww.. My nose!

Having a broken nose doesn’t look as fun and less blood as the movies. Mine was pouring out along with other body liquid. It doesn’t hurt at first but the pain will set in after 10mins or so. Before anyone ask, NO I do not seek any doctor check up on it.

Currently its been 3 hours since it bled. It still bleeds and I’m experiencing nausea every time I bend down, look down or move my head too much. Dad doesn’t know I broke my nose and I’m not going to tell him. I will simply head to the doctor if I need anything else.

In the mean time, anyone who is interested in slimming pills, read up on Ephedrasil hardcore. It’s a new innovation on slimming pills.

Ugh.. My nose..

It’s a week more to Chinese New Year where all those born in the year of the Ox rejoice for its the Year of The Golden Ox, something that happens only once in 60yrs. Too bad this year the Ox have to work extra harder because the economy doesn’t look at all bright with the golden lights.

I’ve also managed to sign up with Facebook. Although I am still not up to updating all the necessary details except looking at what my long lost friends have been doing for the last few years. Haiz.. most of them are married. So what! There’s a lot of things I need to do before I can walk up to the aisle and pronounce myself married.

A few days back, I managed to call my dad’s bestfriend who happens to be my god mom and as per normal, we catch up on the latest news. Being a staunch Catholic, she has a large collection of Christian books in her library.

Don’t give me that look guys, Islam encourages religious tolerant and I’m happy to have her as my family’s good friend.

As usual, this post is influenced by the madness of the papers that had been flagging down blogs that have been trying to promote racist and inciting of hate towards religions. The media sure make it looks like there are no rules on blogging at all whereas there are plenty. I do not support racist or any manner/form of hate towards anyone or anything or any organisation whatsoever. Therefore I’m creating an all out awareness to bloggers who simply sits on their bum and think that it’s a free world out there on the internet with freedom of speech.

Firstly and most importantly, there are no such thing as freedom of speech on the internet. Don’t think that whatever you type/express/rant about cannot be traced down by the authorities should you ever piqued their attention. No parties would ever want to mess with the men in blue especially when they start coming out with warrants and court orders. Take note that every web hosters, blog hosters, domain owners and anything that corresponds to them would do everything in their power to comply with the men in blue.

Next, let’s take a deeper look at some Terms of Service or Blogging Etiquette of some well known web publishing blogging services. In Blogger.com, it is clearly stated that they do not tolerate Pornography & Obscenity, Hateful Content, Violent Content, Copyright, Private & Confidential Information, Impersonation, Unlawful Use of Service, Spam-Malicious-Codes & Virus. Taking a copy and paste action, the meanings of the above are as follows:-

PORNOGRAPHY AND OBSCENITY:

  • Pornography and Obscenity: Image and video content that contains nudity, sexually graphic material, or material that is otherwise deemed explicit by Google should be made private. Otherwise, we may put such content behind an interstitial.
  • Pedophilia, Incest and Bestiality: Users may not publish written, image or video content that promotes pedophilia, incest and bestiality.
  • Commercial Pornography: We do not allow content that exists for the primary purpose of monetizing porn content or driving traffic to a monetized pornography site.
  • Child Pornography: Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child pornography, and we will terminate and report to the appropriate authorities any user who publishes or distributes child pornography.

HATEFUL CONTENT: Users may not publish material that promotes hate toward groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.

VIOLENT CONTENT: Users may not publish direct threats of violence against any person or group of people.

COPYRIGHT: It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. More information about our copyright procedures can be found here.

PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION: We do not allow the unauthorized publishing of people’s private and confidential information, such as credit card numbers, Social Security Numbers, and driver’s and other license numbers.

IMPERSONATION: We do not allow impersonation of others through our services in a manner that is intended to or does mislead or confuse others.

UNLAWFUL USE OF SERVICES: Our products and services should not be used for unlawful purposes or for promotion of dangerous and illegal activities. Your account may be terminated and you may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

SPAM, MALICIOUS CODES AND VIRUSES: We do not allow spamming or transmitting malware and viruses.

Blogger.com is not the only one that has the Blogging Etiquette in their Terms of Service. In fact WordPress.com, Livejournal.com and many others have that rules in their service. They will not hesitate to terminate your service should the blogger insist of doing otherwise.

Furthermore, if your content should attract the wrong attention of any government authorities from whichever countries, then you’d find yourself being hauled up in not the most friendly way. Even though as a blogger, we have the so called ‘power’ to express our discontentment with whatsoever party, we do not have the ‘power’ at all. We are still governed by rules and regulations. So don’t start blabbering your anger away should any parties decide that they had enough of your nonsense and pull you out into court.

So bloggers, do your part in being wiser, read the Terms of Service before you start your writings and end up on the wrong side of the law.

It’s been raining rants and raving at alibaba.com, a top trade lead sources for B2B. As usual its about Paypal and buyers trying to enforce the payment method for China Suppliers. Most of these buyers who usually uses Paypal as a gateway for payments are usually small time buyers and doesn’t usually order a huge amount of quantity since they are most of the time Ebay Sellers who inevitably doesn’t have an established company or business.

Unfortunately for these buyers, the main exporting country, China do not entertain the use of PayPal and payment via credit cards. This is because the access of Paypal in China is not well established and the service rates for international sellers are not very pleasing to look at.

For China Paypal Users, there are 3 different type of fees and charges they have to bear every time they withdraw the cash from PayPal unlike in the US which is free. Furthermore, not all banks in China has the facilities to accommodate Paypal. You can view how much they are being charged when each withdrawal is being made by them. View it Here

China Withdrawal Fee

China Withdrawal Fee

I’ve also attached a copy of the different charges for Sellers in the US and in other parts of the world which they had to bear should they use Paypal. See the differences? That’s a lot to choke for sellers.

Fees For US PayPal Seller

Fees For US PayPal Seller

fees_nonus

However should the Sellers use the other easier and much lesser hassle of payment method like T/T, LC (there’s a lot of types of LC), Bank Draft, Bank Guarantee. Usually they would use a T/T or LC for huge quantity to be exported to the desired country.

T/T and L/C is considerably cheap and safer. For companies that have done multiple import/export businesses, they would know that Irrevocable LC is the best choice where both parties would be on a safer end should any party tries to play Hide-N-Don’t-Seek game. So I’ve heard and read many complaints and horror stories about buyers using T/T to pay to their Sellers but then found out that the Seller has scam them out.

Look, if you are going to T/T the money over for your payment for a huge amount of items you have purchased, ALWAYS and let me stress this again ALWAYS T/T to the account name that bears the Company’s Name. Never pay to a personal account because by then they could easily run off with your money and leave you with a huge heart attack.

When you are in doubt in any form of payment methods especially if you are doing a T/T and the bank name and account bearer’s sounds suspicious to you, do not hesitate to contact your Bank Manager and get all your necessary checks on the account itself. Don’t be stupid and just jump into the basket when you know you are going into the crocodile’s den.

Also never use Western Union or Money Gram to pay for any of your said transactions. If the suppliers / companies are as valid as they tell you, they have no problem whatsoever to accept a valid T/T from you. What company, big or small, doesn’t have a company bank account? How in the world are they going to submit their yearly income tax and accept cheque payments from their customers? Sounds fishy doesn’t it?

Using Western Union and Money Gram is the most fastest way and 100% NOT SAFE for buyers to pay for their transaction. Only scammers and illegitimate sellers use Western Union and Money Gram as their form of payment. They can’t be traced down at all when they have finally scammed you out of your money even after you lodge a police report to whichever parties and organisations.

However just because we have heard so much horror stories about Sellers being scammers, there are also plenty of stories of Sellers being cheated by their Buyers. Believe it or not there are Buyers who made off with the finished products/ items without paying the Sellers. Sellers also faces irresponsible Buyers who never conform to their contract agreement by not paying on time or running out on the last second when products have been manufactured and awaiting for payment.

Ask Suppliers and Sellers anywhere, they will tell you their own horror stories. I’m a Supplier myself and I really hate having to come out thousands of dollars to manufacture the requested items for my customer only to have my payment be delayed by months. Who is going to pay for my bills, workers’ salary, daily company expenses and so on? Do the Buyers care? No they don’t.

So people, please do not ever blame us, the suppliers, for your own carelessness for not doing a thorough on your Suppliers. In the business line, everything is a risk. Nothing in life is risk free. Everyone have to play their part to make sure that unwanted incidents and losses to happen.

Thus, stop pointing fingers and just accept our mistake.

I’ve been busy this whole week and being busy with job is an extremely good thing. It means more good news in the future, and possibly, more money for me. Hehehe…

I’ve just managed to chat with my good friend from China. He’s not as bad as what many thinks of people from China Mainland. They do work for honest job but like any desperate poor people, they tend to be very sly and do anything to be able to get more cash.

As usual, we get on with the latest gossip and share the latest happenings with each other. For a guy, he certainly has plenty of stories to gossip talk about. Oh men don’t gossip, men tell stories… heheh… Typical male chauvinists.

I can’t believed he paid USD 800 for his travel medical insurance. That’s a bit too much to my thinking. No doubt he travels every month for all the exhibition and trade fairs, but I don’t think the insurance would be that expensive.

I’m not located in China, perhaps that’s the current rate there. Hmm..

I didn’t know that giving private tuition to kids are the next best thing to earning RM2000 per month in Malaysia. Back in Singapore while I was struggling to pay for my school expenses and leaking in some cash for my family, its an all out war in the tutoring industry.

Parents would always choose the best of the tutors with degrees to teach their children. So those who has a lower education certificate like Institute of Technical Education (Higher NITEC) will be neglected and have to fight with every tooth and nail to compete with them. To be able to get a student and convincing the parents that we are as good as the money is very scarce.

I was very shocked to find the golden pool where tutors are wanted is very huge and overwhelming. The tutoring rates are also very impressive. Wow.. I didn’t know that tutoring charges here are that high. When I was tutoring my cousins, the rate I charged were very minimal, as good as doing a charity for them and you can say I was literally at their house every night until 11pm.

Ever since I stumbled onto accident research for tutoring rates in Malaysia, I keep nursing the idea of doing a part time tutoring in JB. My nights are free and so are my weekend. Instead of enduring complaints from my personally tutored younger sister, I could receive at least RM 25/hr for Form 1-Form3 tutoring. Ooh… yes…..

Extra income and working in an environment which I so very much enjoy. This is much better than playing with playstation 3.
