The new CIQ building, Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine complex, started its operation yesterday morning at 12.01am. All the traffic and operations in the old Johor Imigration Causeway ceased 15mins to midnight to coincide with the new operation in Sultan Iskandar Building.
I am excited to use the new building and can’t wait to step into it because by then, I have managed to get my passport and can head back to Singapore to cause more mayhem. How I miss my homeland…
Anyway I was expecting things to go smoothly with the new building and system, I had waited eagerly for the morning paper to read the outcome of the first day. Unfortunately the first impression I got when I saw the picture on the papers made me shook my head.
What telah happen?!! Alamak.. Paiseh man.. Wo paiseh leh..

There was a huge congestion for the traffic heading to the building to go out of Malaysia. By the looks of it, the jam was caused by the two lanes that happens to be the only entrance to the building. Not to mention, that motorists were not properly and fully informed that they had to use the Touch n Go card as the means to pay the toll. Or the motorists are simply too busy and too ignorant not to read the news and totally missed out on the important information.
So listen up Malaysian and SIngaporeans. YOU NEED ‘TOUCH N GO’ CARD TO LEAVE AND ENTER MALAYSIA NEW CIQ BUILDING.
Please be considerate and cooperate with the rules and regulation. Don’t cause the massive jam due to your own ignorance and incompetence.
Right…
Now that is settled, I need to inform all of my other Singaporeans and Malaysians that loves to commute to and fro JB and Singapore.

It’s too early to be blogging but I can’t help myself. Yesterday I forgot to get the supplies for today’s breakfast which resulted in me having a cup of Milo as the Breakfast of the Day. It’s raining and drizzling the whole week and the temperature here is down to 20 degrees celcius.
I don’t need an air con! heheheh..
Sorry but five hours of sleep, bouts of occasional stomach ache and not having a proper breakfast gives me a bad sense of humour. As it is I just found out that whatever the kids were playing on my PC on the internet contains security act. Too bad dearies, I warned you before not to test my patience.
Block one site!
What else am I suppose to rant about? The fatso in the house is still not slimming down even though his medical check up by the Mindef proved that he is overweight and considered not healthy. I was contemplating a few times to get him the best diet pills around. But after looking at his inability to not cooperate with his ‘slim self’ and insist of eating everything that looks edible, I dashed the idea away.
I have more problems and things to think about in my mind than him. Already his irritating bootie attitude had nearly made me lunged at him and strangle some sense and manners into him. I really wish the Army will teach him the discipline he so sorely needs.

Was reading Digg and MSN just now and had the laugh of my laugh when I saw the article of the flying shoe with Bush as its prime target. In Arab its a major insult to throw and especially smother someone with his/ her footwear. I’ve only seen these happening when I was in Saudi where the Jamrah takes place.
In the case of the shoe throwing at Bush, I can understand the reporter’s feelings on this. Now because of him, the whole world is in crisis, Iraq is still in rubble and the US citizen are losing their jobs everyday. I say, Bush deserves what was waiting for him.
Anyway I managed to get the new MSN messenger up and working, after tweaking a few things. Don’t ask me how because you know me, the moment I do some programming, I don’t jote them down as notes. Now I need to get a soldering iron so I may repair my spoilt JVC TV. I’m not quite sure if the emitter or the oscillating tube that went wrong.
I can always get JVC spare sparts here in Malaysia easily. Hehehe…
In the mean time, enjoy the pic of the flying shoe.

Did nothing much but reconfigure my dad’s laptop that had been bugging and coughing to its death slowly. All the updates have been installed and running smoothly. Unfortunately my Microsoft Words Office XP is missing and I’m not at all happy at this.
I live and breathe on Microsoft Office and to lose the CD, I’m frowning and cursing my bad luck. The Office 2003 doesn’t work properly and the MSN messenger will not work until the Service Pack 2 is updated. This is the most irritating and frustrating thing that Microsoft could ever come out with. As if their latest messenger never takes up more than 10mb of space.
Grr..
Tomorrow I need to get my M. Office up. In the mean time, my family will just have to settle with Yahoo Messenger. I’m not going to bother downloading and wasting my time to get the MSN up. If anyone wants to contact me, just Skype me up or Yahoo me.
New Year Resolution: Lessen up on the negative attiude and thoughts. Work harder and get all my goals done.
And get more dresses and skirts! Muahaha…

Its elven days more to go before Santa pops in with his red outfit and drinks all the milk and eats all the cookies as he made his drop off presents around the world. Didn’t do much yesterday except watching DVDs and bringing the kids out and keeping their active level low.
I had initially wanted to get a pair of sunglasses in Padini since their design doesn’t clinched above my ears, subsequently relieving the pressure on my blood circulation. I had surveyed the designs a few days back while waiting for my elder brother. Unfortunately, the design that I had my eyes on was out of stock and though they have other designs, I wasn’t particularly happy with them.

But in the end I managed to get something else at a much cheaper price and much darker shades. At least I manage to get something for myself.. hehehe..

Arul got a pair of couple rings which are made of Stainless Steel. Its the fashion these days and I still love my blink-blink gold plated designed Stainless Steel ring. It’s scratch proof, unbreakable and a huge Swarovski Crystal diamond. Oh yes I love Bausch K jewelries. But I’d rather get a gold ring instead… As an investment. Muahaha..
Ayu managed to get a picture with a Sumatran Rhino, even though its a dummy. As a dummy, the huge animal looks very real to me.

Here, have a cake..
It really looks nice and appetizing doesn’t it? I got it from Island Red Cafe. I love the ambiance and the food. Some of the cakes are nice while some can do much much better. Looks can be deceiving. Anyway lastnight Shah treat me out for my belated birthday dinner along with Ayu. It was.. fun and food consuming. We tasted almost every cakes in the cafe.
In the middle of the whole fiesta, someone began to bug me. I kept feeling as if someone was watching me and when I turned around, at the far end of the corner, the manager smiled and toasted to me.
Haiz.. Courtesy only made me exchange his toast. Too bad for him, I don’t entertain the thoughts of exchanging numbers and other than non-too friendly smiles. Hehehe.. But at least I manage to get a good discount from being friendly with the manager. Oh the beauty of being a woman…

I’m tired and I mean dead tired. For the past few days I have been sleeping at 1-2am and waking up at 6am. The pressure with my fellow workers are tempting me to take the mallets to their head and knock some sense into them. They need to change their working etiquette fast. My fuse is about to trip very soon.
Enough of that. My eyes are swollen and I swear I look like a walking Kungfu Panda. It’s black and swollen enough to scare the kids away. The monsoon season are in and floods are coming in with a vengeance in the usually affected areas.
Last night, the media showed the estranged villages and towns hit badly by the floods and mudslide. Unfortunately, no home insurance would ever cover the losses. However there are some insurance companies that I know off which does Fire and Theft but it’s more costly than the usual charges. But if you ask me, it’s better to get one because we may never know when we’ll be next.
So all home owner insurance better think for the better future and get the appropriate insurance for your house.

Once again I’m stuck with Free Wifi as my own form of internet. As usual, I’m at Bestmart but this time instead of hanging around the main hall, I’m at their Muslim food court and typing away. The speed is quite ok with 11.00Mbps. It’s not amazing that its giving me the fastest and best speed around since I’m the only one hogging on the wifi at 10.26am and sitting 2meters away from the modem. I’m not going to hazard my life by sitting right underneath it even though expert says its safe. I’ve work and dealt with HSDPA RX/TX antennas and BTS, I know what I’m talking about..
The smell of chicken rice is making me really hungry but I’d rather be at home and eating. I’m not going to lose my head to my dearest mom for eating outside while she cooks at home. Hehehe… All hail the mighty frying pan.
There’s nothing much for me to yak about now other than the couple that is happily getting comfy with each other and kissing in bright daylight while eating chicken rice. Grr… I don’t envy their lovey-dovey but if they want to sacrileage the poor chicken rice, then they might as well passed it to me before they dig in.
Haiz.. Nothing much at all today. Very boring.. Anyway til next time.
Ciaoz!

Hmph! Of all the things I could receive, its a holler from someone due to my previous post with regards to my near ‘death’ experience. As if it was my fault that the machine fell on the floor and decided to make a mince meat out of me..
Haiz.. men! I expected them to holler and nag the night through the moment they found out about this little mishap. Next thing I know, I’ll find out that some one had bought a life insurance and personal liability on my person.
Not that I don’t like them being worried and all but to nag at me for being careless… *sniff* certainly not enjoying a bit of this.
I am not THAT accident prone. I have gone through un-anesthetic surgery by a field medic when I was ten years old, survived a car accident when I was eight, nearly chopped my finger off in an attempt to cut a chicken cutlet… ugh, OK so perhaps I was a teenie-weenie accident prone.
Grr.. At least I don’t have that many hospital records like my elder brother. He’s well known in terrorizing the nurses and doctors in the hospitals since young. Hah!
Starting to NOT enjoy my day. *sticks out her tongue*
Whats next? A car insurance? Sorry pals, but I don’t have my driver’s liecense yet.
Hmph!

Shaking.. I am having an aftershock of a bad troubleshooting episode that went wrong. I’m not sure why, but this is the third time I had a bad experience in repairing cutting saw machine. The previous blue metal cutting machine nearly saw my arm off two years ago when the cutting disc flew off from its machine due to a technical fault.
Now, I had the same experience with the other cutting machine, wood cutting machine. It nearly saw my foot off due to an eletrical wiring in the switch went haywire. The machine which was initially on the work bench vibrated off the table with such a force that it landed on the floor, centermeters away from my feet and a meter from my younger sister.
Shaking.. I am still shaking. After scrambling to turn off the mains, I had to no choice but check for its problems. The crash had broken its handle, shocked the armature and whacked the wiring. After spending 2 hours of re-wiring the circuit; making sure it has an SOS power off button, sanding the armature and changing the carbon brush, its finally completed. The badly damaged holding frame was easily remedied with a thick roll of 3M high insulation stretchable black tape which is usually used for RF cables.
The stupid machine tripped the moment I on it. Turns out my 0.2mm wire wasn’t enough to cope with the 13Amp. I had used a 0.2 mm wire as an alternative for the 13Amp fuse. Usually it works and its small enough to trip and split the wire once there’s a trip in the circuit. USUALLY!!!
Drat.. In the end, I changed the fuse and rechecked the earth grounding (PNGD or GND) connection. Turns out the earthing connection was lose at the same time. At this point I was cursing and swearing loud enough for the monks in the monastery to cringe.
Only after all that process did the machine finally works properly. This time, viced to the bench with no one around but just me. Me and the machine.
Machine docile, Syikin smiles..
