I didn’t know looking for car insurance can be such a hassle. Where I’m located, I can either get Kurnia Insurance, MAA Insurance or Alliance. But it doesn’t look quite easy for my friend in New York. There are so many insurance company that does car insurance in the US.

He was lamenting with me over Skype about the headache he’s going through to pick up the best deals for his car insurance. Well looking at his list and his picky choices, I too got a migraine. After all, he is a fussy person. I told him to engage those website companies that does car insurance comparison but he turns a deaf ear on me.

So his chat droned on and on and thank god it was on Skype and I was blogging while chatting with him. Why couldn’t he just engage their service and get on with it? I would have done it so as to relieve the hassle of figuring things out. In fact come to think of it, there are a lot of people I know who really take their time to get the item they want.

Waste of time… Just get it done and over, that is what I would do.

I lost the writing competition in Helium.com. But I expected it since I didn’t write anything else except 1article only and its on Islam. I had wanted to write more than that but I was running out of time and my paying job is more important than indulging in my hobby.

But at least I manage to straighten out certain issues on Zam Zam Water which most of the writers were simply taking information off the book and pasting it on their articles. Even the name of Ismail’s mother was wrongly spelled and named. The real facts and history were totally changed.

So much for trying to write the history of Islam without getting real info from Quran and Hadiths. These people just do not know that changing history and facts of Islam can bring out certain disasters and misinterpretation.

Anyway I’m going to do some shopping at the local pharmacy for a colon cleanser for my dad and multivitamins for my mom. Everyone knows he badly needs it. Not only is he facing some problems in his ‘business’, well let’s just say it’s taking too much time. Hehehe…

I should have seen it happening. And now my three cats are down to two. A stray which I had picked up in January and raised, aged only a few days old, has passed away. Amongst the three strays which I accidentally picked up in the same week, Kenny was my favourite.

A skinny and almost dying noisy new born, I had raised him up into a an Alpha male of the litter of strays. He was always there with his twitching ears, running to me every time I called him. Smart and aggressively possessive of me, he would hiss and scratch at my other cats every time they got near me. Initially it was cute but it got irritating as days go by. But he finally got over that irritating habit of his after much repeated times of whacking him on his rump.

His eating habits are a little weird. He loves his boiled spinach with anchovies, mixed with rice and small bits of fish. He hates chicken and would always give me his long-stare look with his tail swishing angrily every time I gave him chicken.

Almost 2kg I would always joke to my mom about selling him as meat products in the market. I really miss my Kenny. He was a great cat who loves getting himself in tough situation and yowling out for help. A hyper little kitty cat, who loves to sleep under my car.

He died on 28th May 2008, run down by a car. I miss him. I kept seeing his silhouette, seeing his small face whiskers twitching and showing me his small little canine teeth.

Haiz.. I need to get a break. I miss my late Kenny. I need a vacation to get away. Perhaps I will take up on my friend’s offer to go for Orlando vacations. But who will take care of my other cats?

I was watching Tyra yesterday on Singapore channel. The topics they covered was very interesting.

Shocking ways people engage to relieve their stress.

And the people they brought in and talked to shocked me. All my life, I’ve known of drug abusers which they then be hauled off to the nearest drug rehab from the victim residential location. I also knew of Sex-Abusers, people who engage in sex as stress relievers and lived on it literally even though they don’t prostitute themselves. I’ve also heard and encountered cutters since some of my friends in Secondary School were part of that little group.

But I didn’t know there’s such thing as a shop addict. I’ve heard of shop-a-holic, since most women can go head over heels in shopping spree especially if it’s on someone else’s account. Yesterday, they brought in a shop addict who spends like there’s no tomorrow and ended up with credit card debts and had filed for bankruptcy twice. She even stole her mom’s id just to apply more credit cards for herself.

It’s a sad thing really. There’s other ways to relieve the stress and the pent up frustration and anger.

I used to be in that category; keeping all of my problems, frustration and anger bottled up. Always smiling and laughing, nobody really knew the instability which I had perched on. While I became the forced listening ears and problem solver, no one became mine, not even a shoulder to just lie on when everything became too much to handle.

But at least I got my mom to dig out the restlessness in me. Mothers always have a detector in them specially built in to monitor their children. AND I thank GOD for that. NO matter how much I smile and laugh, she still knew there are problems haunting me with every step. Without her support and warm comfy hugs, I didn’t think I could handle anymore of those stress.

I’m thinking of getting a new mobile phone / handphone, whichever you prefer. Yes, I know my current phone is a year old but already it’s giving me a lot of problems. First off the microphone of the phone is faulty. The person on the other line can never hear my voice properly even though I was screaming my head off through the mic.

Second, the camera is getting a bit fuzzy. The 2MG pixels are experiencing some faults whenever I take pictures with it. You can see the grains and off balance color in the pictures taken. Then it is consistently jam and weird words like F44:F987 will appear in place of all the menu lists.

No doubt it works perfectly fine and whizzy free during the first few months of the usage, but after that, my poor SonyEricsson K610im starts giving the ‘dying’ syndrome. The only thing that still works without any problems is micro sd.

I can’t imagine if that turns a blind eye on me. All my important documents are in them!

Right.. that was the shocking revelation that flashed the headlines this morning. No petrol sales to foreign registered cars in Malaysia border town. This means states like Kedah, Perak, Johor, Perlis and Kelantan will have to stop their sale of petrol to foreign registered cars.

Should the the owners of these foreign registered cars wishes to top-up their petrol, they would have to travel 50km away from the border to get their nearest petrol supply. This ban was implemented yesterday to control the sales of subsidized petrol that was meant for Malaysians only. This is because foreigners that live near the border took advantage of the subsidized petrol by entering Malaysia solely for their petrol top-up.

It’s going to cause a great commotion amongst petrol station owners especially those that heavily relies on the sales from foreign registered cars. I can almost hear the groans and moans of Singapore workers who lives in Johor and drives a Singapore registered vehicle. There are alot of them doing that in Johor, living in two worlds as they would like to put it.

While the Singaporeans are groaning and moaning of their petrol source from their “Cheap Neighbour”, the Singapore government would be all smiles.

A few weekends back, I managed to get my long awaited, sand, sun and the sea. It was pure heaven and exhilarating experience. Didn’t go anywhere far except Batu Layar, and undeveloped beach near Desaru which not many knew about, luckily.

And this time, I brought my fishing rods even though it was almost 2m long.. My smaller rod went MIA suddenly on me so I had to no choice but make do with what I have. Like Desaru, the beach has a few banks. The normal bank that is usually untouched by the water unless there is a real high tide, the normal bank and lastly, the Outer Banks.

I would usually stick to the middle bank for swimming since the water will only be mid-chest high during normal tide and stretches out one kilometer away before it plunges down to the deep ocean. Since the place is littered with coral reefs and rocks, alot of yummy fishes (snapper) can be found swimming alongside with you during the day.

Unfortunately, that day the weather was quite unpredictable and the waves were so strong that I was pushed off my feet a few times. Furthermore the waves that came crashing down on me literally were quite high and if would a surfer’s new destination.

Luckily, Mr Sun wasn’t smiling too much on us and the only thing that was burnt was my bait. No fishes for me the whole day although I nearly caught 2 large ones. Haiz…

Still going to get my fishes soon.

Unlike most women, there are a few who seem to stray from the usual work industry such as admin or any jobs which usually positions the woman in the office. I happen to fall outside those categories. I hate sitting in the office which is why I’m either at site working my sweat off or just sit in a shaded area while I scream my instructions to my workers.

Hey..I’m still a woman…

But being in an industry different from others, it gives a wide advantages to me. Being raised and drilled at an early stage, admin, accounting, HR are all chicken feet to me. Having a father who believes in efficiency and all knowledgeable, I have to be constantly at my toes to answer all of his questions with correct facts and figures. That is only for matters pertaining the handling of the company. I haven’t rant on the subjects which he made me read, understand and memorise such as politics and mechanical works..

He believes all sexes must be equal in terms of knowledge. NO one must be excused not to learn. And since knowledge is an endless pursuit, you can just imagine the things I had to go through when I was younger although now I appreciate every single bit of it.

Which is why I am happily working away in the engineering fields with the dirt and dust and occasional large scratches. But recently my sources has informed me that my dearest dad is on a hunt for another new toy of his, Pressure Feed Sandblaster.

Yes, the old man is currently in a shopping mood for air tools but since it’s for the new project, I don’t see why he can’t splurge a bit. After all, if it brings a few hundred thousands to the company’s coffers, I don’t see any reason why an investment of USD 70,000 cannot be used.

I couldn’t help it.. I need to blog my thoughts even though the latest entries were just an hour ago. It’s Saturday and I’m suppose to attend a ceremony of sorts that my elder sister had planned for her newborn son and her 3yr old daughter birthday. Regrettably, due to some minor inconvenience, I couldn’t attend the family gathering of the year.

All my relatives, family members and my closest cousins are attending it. I know on these occasions and gatherings are the time where old relations are renewed and new pranks are played out and new laughters and stories are shared. And I, the well known Party Prankster and Party King is not attending..

Already last evening, my cousins had called me up to inquire about my attendance and what I was planning for them since they were getting ready to pack their stuffs for the family sleepovers. I got an earful of screaming and shouting of distraught/disappointment and threats of strangulation for my missing attendance.

It’s not as if I didn’t want to attend. I just can’t! My visa application is still pending.. They are not the only disappointed. Up till now, I still haven’t met my new nephew yet and I was planning to get a new pair of clip on earrings with my cousins! Those cute little fish bones earrings and the star and moon dangling earrings… Now all my plans gone down the drain AGAIN.

And the food!! All the good and glorious food… I can’t even touch it. Grr…

I’m sorry Along, Nana, Udin, Mimi, Adam, Ayu, Arul.. and all those whom I don’t think is important enough to be named. I’m sorry I can’t attend.

Haiz… I really need to go out fishing soon.

I was supposed to post this up yesterday but in the midst of all the clutters and back pains, I totally forgot about it.

I have officially updated RA Tree Intra Holdings webblog, RAT 3 Intra OOPS! New designs, new ads and well new writing system. Azrin will once in a while pop in his head to check on the bugs but since he’s very busy with his new fascination and other stuffs, it would be a very long while.

This time the design is more easy on the eyes and easier to navigate. Plus there is no excessive ads to sore the eyes. And I really like the glass water image!!

A very good deal indeed…

Unfortunately, I can’t post the site image here, I’m still clueless why… hmm.. Anyway, if you wish to view it, click here.
